How can I say this... The place is awesome! We got the 14" cheese pizza. My wife got the chicken and fruit salad, it is huge and delicious! The pizza was so good that my youngest actually ate the pizza crust (she normally doesn't ever eat it) We had the apple pie, Lemon Ches and peach/blueberry pie for dessert. They were phenomenal pies! The atmosphere is pretty neat and very homey in a great way! We came in later in the evening due to traveling through and are glad we stopped. If you are living in the area then I would for sure say to give it a try! If you are passing through it is a great place to stop for a bite to eat!

Great service. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Fun decor, bright and vibrant. Definitely must stop in if you are anywhere near Wickenburg! I ordered the Zeke. It was super delicious! Definitely one of the tastiest sandwiches I've had in a long time. I cannot wait to come back and try the other offerings!!

Do yourself a favor. Get thee to the Eatery, and get there quickly! You will most likely need to pinch yourself to make sure you aren't just dreaming how outstanding Justin's creations are. Because they ARE that good. Tonight I had the barbecue chicken pizza and was gobsmacked by the smoky deliciousness of the barbecue sauce! And as always, quite literally the BEST pizza dough/crust I've ever had - and I'm 100% Italian. As stuffed as I was, I had to try a piece of Justin's apple pie and was so glad I did. The crust was perfectly baked, the pieces of apple maintained that slight crunch announcing their freshness, and Justin topped it with caramel, chocolate and slivered almonds. Are you drooling yet???? The Gila Monster Eatery will always be my "go to" place when I want to treat someone special and of course when I want to treat myself! Thank you Justin for letting us all into your passionately perfect world of food.

Hidden gem alert! If you are in Wickenburg, AZ and find yourself looking for a good place to eat and you don't stop here, you are missing out! My family was passing through on our way home from Oatman, AZ and we found ourselves hungry. A quick search brought this establishment up. I am SO glad that it did! First off, the service was awesome! I am pretty sure we met an owner who was so sweet. We also met the chef. They were genuinely interested in how we had found them and our days travels. Second, the food! I have a picky pizza eater who never eats the crust, she couldn't get enough! Last, the pie! I don't think this place has a bad slice to serve. The Lemon Ches is enough to make this reviewer drive the 2 hours from San Tan Valley, AZ just for another slice of that lemon heaven! Peach blueberry? AMAZING. Apple? OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do yourself a favor, stop in. Enjoy the small biz and cozy atmosphere. Chat with the staff as friendly as old friends or long lost family. For the love of God, eat a slice of pie. You will not regret it. Thank you Gila Monster Eatery for treating my family to a memorable meal and for showing us that good ole small town hospitality! We are already looking for all the reasons to come back to the area just for another meal with you! ❤️

Fantastic pizza in a fun friendly environment! My wife and I always try to find cool places to get great food and are dog friendly on our road trips, and The Gila Monster did not disappoint. We ordered the garden pizza which came out heaped with veggies and house made vinaigrette. I'm positive the other pizzas are just as awesome. We finished with homemade chocolate pie that was also outstanding. We're definitely heading back here next time we're in the area!

Hey, If you're in Wickenburg, or even just wanna go for a drive, it's worth stopping in for a meal at The Gila Monster Eatery. They make great food and are good people. Last time I was there, I had a Basil Pesto Pizza that was awesome. The Chef was trying out a fun appetizer and we ate that up, too! The time before, I had the Spinach and Artichoke Lasagna. It sounded Yummy when I saw it on the Specials Board, so I didn't really look at it before ordering. I Love Red Sauce, but, AFTER I had ordered, then read the description, I was concerned because this lasagna is made with White Sauce. It's not JUST ANY old white sauce....I'm NOT a fan of white sauce, but this was FABULOUS, melt in your mouth stuff and I loved it! I don't live too near Wickenburg, but I intend to make The Gila Monster Eatery A GO TO DESTINATION! Enjoy!

This place was amazing. They have the best pizza in town, and espresso and desert. We were there on a night where they were trying out a musician for our added dining experience. We thoroughly enjoy the music. The owner came out to see how our food was and we appreciated that added touch. We will definitely be back while in Wickenburg, AZ

Small business, great food, the lemon chess pie was incredible. The pizza was fantastic. The salad I ordered was delicious. We didn't set out to go there but it was quite a happy incident and we will be returning.

Great little small business to support. We learned from the owners that they took over the place in August of 2017. They are working to expand the menu as they grow. Drinks were great as were the baked goods. The pizza was good as well. Soups, salads, and sandwiches looked amazing. It should be noted that if you are impatient in restaurant situations, this may not be the spot for you to eat. My husband and I enjoyed the very friendly slower pace of the shop and enjoyed being able to use the extra time visiting.

Wow! Not your average restaurant. I was blessed to be introduced by a friend to the Gila Monster. It's located where the Pie Cabinet used to be and still maintains that entity with much much more. I can Honestly say it's our new favorite eatery and possibly the best place in town. You can't go wrong by choosing this as a place to take anyone. Family friends or groups will be more than satisfied here. Please give it a try. Guaranteed to please at a very reasonable price. And thank you John Radway.

We went here just for a piece of pie and we had a piece of peach blueberry pie. It was a real joy. The piece of pie was much larger than we expected and the fruit filling was perfect. It wasn't overly sweet or sour. The flavor of the peaches and blueberries came across very subtly but enough so that you could recognize the individual fruits. The crust and crumb topping were wonderful and added a delicious undertone to support the taste of the fruit. We will try and make this a regular stop whenever we are in Wickenburg.

This place is a rare treasure. People don't bake from scratch anymore and they both do and do it well! The pizza was superb and then the pie. Omg the pecan pie. I left miserable because I couldn't leave a single bite or my taste buds would want me to go back and finish it off. That was an insane pie!!!! My daughter got the pumpkin and even the whip cream was homemade. We couldn't stop talking about it for 30 min. I love 40 min away and will absolutely go back.

Just ate pepperoni and black olive pizza and bar none this was hands down the best pizza in Wickenburg. We have tried them all and haven’t found any that would come close. Pizza crust was actually crispy and tons of cheese. No room for dessert but the pies look amazing.

Stopped on our way through Wickenburg to Henderson....so glad! Great salad, Italian panini, and fried ravioli. Justin, new owner was funny and very personable. Will save room when we go back for coffee & homemade pie!
