Review Sonic Drive-in - Wichita

Well darn it!! I love Sonic shakes and drinks but I seem to continue to have nothing but issues with this franchise lately. Long story short, my friend and I ordered shakes and we got some food. I had the chicken slider which was wonderful. Good job guys. BUT... we also ordered the foot long coney combo. You will see by the pics how we received our onion rings.... Now I'm no rocket scientist but I know that if I had been given those onion rings to serve to a customer I would have refused to serve them. Upon discovering the state of our burnt onion rings I pushed the button and requested we get a refund or replacement of our onion rings and it took them a while to decide that they wanted to do that. Not only did they appear to not want to replace the onion rings but they also did not give us any sort of incentive to come back to Sonic and and try their food again. I have had to give bad reviews several times on Sonic now. It's sad cuz no one in corporate seems to care enough to touch base with me or fix the issues

I placed an online order about a half hour, around 10:24, before they closed because I wanted a shake and it was half-priced. I arrive and check-in and wait about 5 minutes before the screen tells me that an associate named Marcus is on my way with my order. I wait 20 minutes, watching other cars come and go, and I still don’t have my shake. I press the red button to get ahold of an associate to let them know and wait 5 minutes before pressing it again to make sure I got through. I let the associate know what’s going on and that I have yet to receive my order despite all the other cars having come after me and get their orders before me. Shortly after, Marcus appears with my melted shake in hand, sans straw, and asks if I need anything else. I was too frustrated to say I wanted a remake or a refund or to even mention that he didn’t bring a straw, so I left and I cried on my drive home. If I could give this particular visit 0 stars I would, but since I can’t, I give it a 1. Attached is pictures of my melted shake that I received that had been sitting for 20+ minutes.

The gentleman brought out what he understood I ordered which was a lemon berry float. They pushed them the summer of 2019 I believe. With that said, he asked as handing me my drink if it was correct. It wasn't however, I said that it was "ok" & he said, "no", I'm going to go remake it while he let me keep the "wrong one". Mind you it was delicious anyways. The gentleman came back out with my perfect lemon berry float! Bravo! You'd think I'm ordering caviar from some of the other Sonic locations. This guy was amazing! Thank you!

They don’t have slushes. After a hot 100 degree day, all I wanted was a lemonade slush and this place wasn’t able to make a simple slushy. Also, my carhop’s name on the screen was “Lil Man” and I find this to be very unprofessional. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

Worst location. Always behind. On top of that, I ordered one of the new Oreo Big Scoop Cookie Dough Blasts tonight and was given vanilla ice cream with a cookie dough ball on top. Zero Oreos mixed in and I also paid for peanut butter to be added in, but they didn't do that either. I will never go back to this location again.

Went here me and the gf got our food got home and got 2dry as hell Patty's on my burger just tastes like cardboard and my girlfriends chicken sandwich had so much gristle in it couldn't even eat it waste of our money go to busters joint best place

These are the sorriest chili cheese dogs I've had in my life. The sides were on point. They were pretty slow, but seemed distracted inside, had to repeat multiple times, watching the lady turn and talk to a coworker. Kayla, the carhop, was very nice.

They were busy as usual. Staff was working hard to get their tasty food to hungry customers as quickly as possible. My order was slightly delayed due to equipment issues.
