Review Chipotle Mexican Grill - Wichita

Absolutely terrible service today. They were unapologetic about being so slow on online orders. Young man at the register shoved the bag into my hands. He was short with brown hair, wearing a hat with glasses. Totally disorganized and dirty. Very skimpy on an $11 meal. If it wasn’t for my daughter, I would go back in and demand better service. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

My order was put in between 4:30 and 5:00 pm and to be picked up at 8:00 pm. I arrived at 7:57 but did not get my order until 8:25 pm. The people in line got there after me and got their food before me. There were lots of people in the online order line that had to wait after their pick up time. One lady had to wait 40 minutes after her time slot. We had baseball games and I just finished getting final preparations done for my mom's funeral, l just wanted to pick up my order and go home and not wait so long in the restaurant. If I wanted to do that I would have gone through the line. I spoke with the manager about this and he told me that he had a couple new employees, which I understand but there is still no excuse to be so late. I saw at least 6 employees plus him working. Yes the line as you walk in to order right then and there was long but they were getting their food before me, and the other online orders, even though they got there after me. After reading the other reviews, other people are having the same problems. I was a little upset with him because he did not even offer anything to compensate for the slowness. I had to ask for it. All he gave me was a phone number to call to complain. As I was walking out another lady said her order was supposed to be ready at 8:00 as well but she was okay with the wait. In my mind I was thinking this is not okay. How are the long wait times supposed to be solved if nobody says anything?

Where to even begin. I used to love Chipotle but after an experience like today don’t see me going here anytime soon. We had an online order to pick up at 10:50am. My husband arrives on time and the door is locked. Store was supposed to open at 10:45. An employee tried to get in and they let her in at 11:02 but continued to lock out the customers. Finally they let customers in at 11:10. It doesn’t end there. They didn’t even provide a reason as to why they locked out customers for 25 minutes. Finally at 11:15 (30 minutes after pickup time) we get our food. We bring it home and they completely messed up our order. My bowl had half the ingredients missing and maybe 5 pieces of chicken. What a joke. Based off these reviews I see for Chipotle, this is just one of many examples. Better training for staff is necessary otherwise this will go out of business.

Worst experience at Chipotle ever! 6:50pm was when our order was to be ready. Got there at 7pm no pick up rack anymore do to thefts so had to wait in line to check order readiness. 7:10pm not ready another minute they said. Watched new customers come in and get their order. One lady had her order brought to her in line and she was there after me! Finally got up to the cashier again at 7:30 pm and it was in the back getting cold. They never called my name. Was barely warm when we were eating it. No salsa with the chip & salsa order. My son's burrito was ordered with light hot sauce and it was drenched in hot sauce to the point he couldn't eat it. I thought last year when they still had the pick up rack and our order had been taken was bad. This was Worst especially not knowing until I got there about the no pick up rack anymore.

This location needs a whole new turn around. The place was filthy and just nasty in the lobby, looking behind the station was as well. The team members here are slow, spend all their time talking about irrelevant things instead of getting orders out! I placed an online order for 6:30PM, did not get it until 7:20PM. Steak was burned, the veggies soggy and burned, the rice had way too much lime and salt. There is absolutely no structure in this restaurant and it’s not a staffing issue because their was a total of 8 workers I counted. Since the general or district manager can’t get it together my family and I won’t eat from Chipotle again.

Love the food, but HATE how slow this location (N Maize) is. I've been coming here for years and it is definitely tapered off quite a bit on customer service. It's clear that they're understaffed and leverage less headcount for multiple roles. The person running the register is also currently handling online orders. So it just bottlenecks the line. The person doing the condiments is busy and clearly requires two people. They keep going to the back of the kitchen because they're understaffed back there as well. We came recently and it took us 45 minutes just to get through the line. Ugh Note: other location aren't nearly as slow.

Chipotle as a whole needs to reanalyze the order pickup system. You can no longer pick it up off the shelf due to food theft (fair enough), but now you pretty much have to wait for the line to go through to get someone to give you your food. Completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead to skip the line. I think if it’s a nationwide issue they need to invest in a locked style pickup option where you’re given a code when your order is ready.

Had a mobile order for 7:10. I finally received my food at 8:17. There were 10 people ahead of me and they all told me they were waiting for over an hour ridiculous. And I get home and the bowl isn't even full.
