My wife and I both love to eat at Bishops and have for years. It is about the only buffet restaurant that my wife can eat at without getting sick at because the others use added MSG in their food. I have never seen Bishop's dirty, always clean. The people that complain about their food must be some extremely picky eaters or are competitors trolls. Highly recommended.

Went to eat here tonight. Paid & got in line. Began choosing what I wanted on my tray. I got a small bowl of vegetables soaked in vinegar. My watermelon was juicy, tasty & ripe! Next, I picked what looked like baked chicken only to find the piece I received had been cooked so long, all the meat was tough. I thought I was chewing on rubber. Next came mashed potatoes, spinach that was good but looked like a science project. Corn, fried fish & then grabbed my pumpkin pie & got my drink. I sat down & began eating. I barely ate anything on that plate.

The food tasted awful and looked even worse than it tasted. I also did not like the fact that someone was scooping my food for me. When it came to sitting down to eat, a waitress came by and left a huge pile of dirty plates with food on them right next to us for about 5 minutes. Eating here was definitely a waste of money.

Always fresh food on the buffetI love ther fried potatoes and roast And fried chicken!! Great,friendly people, huge fireplace in center of restaurant. My choice for Mothers Day this year, Happy Mothers Day everyone.

Roughly 2:30 Sat afternoon, barely any food and what was there looked old... there was one pc dried fish, two pcs ground steak, some other meat, watered down spaghetti sauce...just a horrible site to take in. I so wanted to go to Golden Coral but instead settled for this against my better judgement. Needless to say I got a refund but my companion ate...so now I'm starving...still want a freakin buffet but don't want it to go...don't want to sit and eat by myself...$!#@% Bishops!

The restaurant smells like urine!! The food is overcooked or undercooked....don't expect anything to taste good. I also don't like that the workers get the food for you. They aren't the cleanest or friendliest people...

Great Buffet to dine. Delicious varieties of food. Wonderful cuts and types of meat. Wide variety of vegetables and fruits. And above all fantastic desserts. Very friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

Very bad staff. Was stopped at door out by manager reminding me to not forget mthey make you waitress!?!Blocked me from leaving. I thought tipping was optional. Didnt have cash with me either only my card. Rude and very inappropriate. Felt uncomfortable. Never again!

Very disappointed. I saw good reviews for this restaurant and decided to go there. The staff was very friendly and helpful, BUT, the food was awful. The potatoes were instant, and cold with watery brown gravy that had little taste. OK, a lot of places uses instant potatoes so I tried the salad. The dressing was watered down to the point that it didbn't stick to the veggies but pooled at the bottom of the dish. OOOKay. the final straw was the fried chicken. It looked really good with lots of crunchy breading. But when biting into it it tasted of old grease. I was so disappointed. I left and went somewhere for a hamburger.

Good for a buffet. I've eaten there many times. Good food - very much like a Furr's. I think the owner used to manage a Furr's. This place doesn't really stand out as a destination eatery but if your wanting a good buffet and are on the mid-west side of town - go there.
