We got so many compliments on our wedding cake! So delicious and beautiful. The owner was super nice each time we met with her. The only thing was we weren’t told that we needed to supply the flowers to the cake (obviously I should have know but with so much going on it was overlooked) and they called the night before the wedding right before they closed asking if we were bringing it. I told them that we would bring it right over and 15 minutes later we were there and the lady at the door was very sassy because they were closed. But overall it worked out and we loved the cake!

When we went in to order the cake the lady drew exactly what we wanted written on top of the cake so there was no miscommunication. We received the cake with the name on the side, not on top like we wanted. When we opened the boxes we noticed that the cakes were not centered on the little paper platter so there fore they hung over on one side making the icing touch the inside of the box. Happened on both cakes we received from them. On the smaller cake we wanted a simple number one written on the center of it and we received a globbed on number that isn’t even centered…. Would not recommend going here at all. We are disappointed as this was our daughters first birthday cake.

Was looking for a beautifully simplistic cake. Conversed through email, then went in person to be able to see my options and luckily, was able to taste the difference in frostings too. After much deliberation, we finalized on this beautiful ombre rosette cake with whipped frosting. The lady who helped me was sweet, patient, and flexible, so I didn’t feel rushed or inconvenienced. Thank you for making my birthday memorable with this beautiful cake.

DO NOT COMMUNICATE VIA EMAIL! It is with great sadness I leave this review. I've been using Artistic cakes for 25 YEARS. It's changed hands over the years and still, it's remained awesome. They made my wedding cake 25yrs ago and my daughter's wedding cake last year! they messed up the cupcakes for my daughter's wedding. They did not provide what they promised. I forgave them and ordered a smash cake for my grandbaby's first bday. They worked with me via email for a week and a half and then provided a 3hr window VIA email to pay and finalize they didn't even attempt to call me. This new owner is NOT what it used to be and I do NOT recommend this place. They cannot be depended upon. GO TO SAM's - you'll have a better chance of getting what you've ordered!

I truly wanted to write a nice review and give this place five stars, but too many mistakes were made with my wedding cake. The first mistake was the day before my wedding I went to drop off flowers for the cake and the baker thought the delivery date was on Saturday. I politely corrected them and said it was on Friday and even pointed out that the paper work said Friday. The second mistake was my two tiered cake ended up lopsided. That was disappointing. The last mistake were the flavors, they delivered a lemon and coconut cake, although delicious, it was suppose to be a strawberry and coconut cake.

I found Artistic Cakes as a part of my effort to shop locally in August as a part of the #BuyICT Challenge. Some friends were having us over for dinner and we were charged with bringing dessert. Instead of dirtying up my kitchen, I decided to let a local, professional do the work for me. My son and I drove to the west side of town and arrived just before 9am when Artistic Cakes opened. When we came in, we were warmly greeted and asked what we were looking for. I explained why we were there and let my son look around to pick something out. Ultimately, we settled on a dozen cupcakes and a small cookie cake. They were both delicious and well received with our friends and their kids. There were several beautiful displays in the shop as well. I'll have to remember this place next time my kids have big ideas for their birthday cakes. I'm sure Artistic Cakes will be able to create exactly what we're looking for!

I loved how my wedding cakes turned out! There was a small communication issue that happened but we got it figured out pretty fast. The other issue I did have is that they didn’t show up on time to deliver the cake. They told me 5 but didn’t show up tell 6. The ceremony was at 5:30 and we finished around 6 so all of my guests saw the cake being delivered. My mom was not happy that they were late. But all in all everything was good.

I have ordered several cakes from here and have always had a good experience until July 2021. I ordered a unicorn cake and there was a miscommunication on colors. When I picked up the cake, it was not as expected. I'm not sure how the miscommunication happened but it happened. Sometimes things happen- after all it's just cake. However, the handling of the situation was so inappropriate. The staff member, who I believe to be the owner, was extremely rude and beligerant. I left in tears at the way she treated me. I'll never do business with Artistic Cakes again.

We love Artistic Cakes. They truly are artistic with their designs. Every cake we have ordered has been cute no matter the design- we’ve ordered from KC Chiefs to Minnie Mouse and many others. They are also very kind and easy to work with.

Outstanding!!! We ordered a cake for my daughter's 16th birthday. She wanted a half naked Justin Bieber but I wanted an oldie of Justin Bieber. I messaged Artistic Cakes to incorporate the 2 looks and they came through! Not only did the cake look perfect but the flavor (marble) and texture was perfect. Thank you for the awesome job in creating a perfect cake for my daughter's special day!

Artistic Cakes did the cakes for me wedding and they were so great!! They created a simple white tier cake, a cookie cake, and my grooms cake! For the groom's cake, they were able to recreate my husband's welder because that's what he does for a living! All the details on that cake were amazing! I received multiple compliments that day and since then!

Everyone always loves the cake and asks where we got it. It is a Birthday tradition in our family now for Grandma to get the cake from Artistic Cakes!!
