Good ole American type of breakfast food. I hear the lunch and dinner are just as good. It was pretty crowded at 8am but our service was good and the meal didn't take to long (7 of us). The waitress kept our coffee refilled without asking. The Bathrooms were dirty though! At least during my visit the women's bathroom 🚻 needed cleaning. All in all it was decent and prices were good.

Servers, restaurant vibe, music, and food presentation is amazing! Prices are also reasonable. However, there was barely any flavor in the food and the chicken was a bit dry which was difficult to munch on. Service was quick and made me feel like home.

Nostalgia, 1950s diner. They serve diner food. A lot of different options. I had thier breakfast meat lovers skillet. It was ok. The biscuits and gravy was a bit better, even though the gravy could have used more meat. I would like to try their sandwiches and burgers because that's what a true diner is known for. I'll have to give them another try because their menu is so massive. It's a good place to get a bit to eat. The service was fast and the price was fair.

All around home-style cooking restaurant. The place has been around since 1933 so they must be doing something right and my review is pretty much a moot point. Nevertheless, if you are local and have never been, try it out. Friendly staff, quick seating, and great service. Crowd is super friendly so if you are conversational you'll definitely find someone to chop it up with 😬 Stop by and enjoy!

Judy, our waitress was excellent. Helpful, gracious, informative. It only took less than 7 minutes to get our food on the table.

This is a hometown favorite with long wait times. However it is worth it with awesome interior furniture with old time diner. Staff goes above and beyond. Food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Service was super friendly and the food was quick fresh. The portions are extremely generous as well.

My parents and I really liked eating America meal at Jack's tonight. I can check this off of my bucket list. It's almost 90 years old and we enjoyed it.

Last week had chicken fried steak , was chicken fried steakum from a box , all the breading came off when I tried to slice it . Had good flavor but was like a version of breaded spam . Yesterday had Fish & Chips w/ 3 shrimp . The fish was dry and didn't look like fish . Regular dinner comes with 3 pieces of fish , special only had 2 smaller pieces about the size of a role of lifesavers. Salad was good . Rice pudding was good . Service was good . Restaurant was clean . Restrooms were clean . Will eat there again .

This restaurant is by far one of the best that Whittier has to offer!! My family and I have been coming here for years and have a great experience every time. The food is good and fairly priced. The owner is one of the coolest business owners I have ever encountered and is a stand up guy! My family and I look forward to patronizing this business for many years to come.

Best Carrot cake I have ever had. Jack's is my go to place for carrot cake and great employees. They never disappoint me when I go. They are family.

Love the fried chicken dinner plate and the service was on point. Merry Christmas to all the employees Jacks

I have never been there n omg the food was so good that I got full n I couldn't finish it but I will be back if I have to drive to Inglewood to Whittier again

This is my husband favorite place he can get breakfast all day and my favorite place because they have hotspot Keno and cold Lagunitas

we love jack’s!!! the blueberry pancakes are my crack. all the waitresses are so good to us. the young owner always comes over and says hi. it feels like family here!!

Yesterday my husband and I went for breakfast to enjoy are last day of vacation. Unfortunately, I got eggs with a slice of ham that tasted off and seemed to be undercooked it was rubbery. It grossed me out and was not able to finish my meal fearing to get sick. The waitress was able to take off the bill. But was disappointed this happened.

I ordered over easy eggs and I got sunny side up. I ordered home fries and I got hash browns. The special steak I ordered with the breakfast was pathetic and small. My son's order of corned beef hash was to the T real nice.

Fried chicken was plain no flavor very disappointed. Dinahs Chicken in Glendale is the shiznit when it comes to fried chicken.

Hands down they've got the best biscuits and gravy and an awesome chicken fried steak to go with it!!! Love all the girls there too shout out to Yuyi, Gaby and Esther for always providing an exceptional experience each time we come!!!

I love discovering new places to eat in Los Angeles. I find myself in the city a few times a year to visit family and friends for all of life's fun events: birthdays, weddings, baptisms, and more. . After a fun-filled Saturday celebrating my grandma's 95th birthday, Sunday morning found us looking for somewhere to have a delicious breakfast.

Jack's of Whittier. They have good food. Good service. Great prices. More of a family establishment. Not a place to bring a date. I had a job interview there. Nice, nothing fancy. One of those restaurants you can eat at if you don't feel like cooking and you don't wanna spend a lot of money.

Food is poor quality, not the way it used to be at all. Service sucks.
