Whitehouse Inn

I have not been to the Whitehouse Inn for years, because I was disappointed that they no longer served sweet potato fries. I was in their area, was hungry, and decided to give them a try. I am sure glad I did! They were very busy! I can see (and taste) why they are busy....the food is fresh, delicious and fairly priced. The staff are friendly and very accommodating! I had their house entrée-sized dinner salad. It was delicious, with slices of juicy beef and just the correct serving size. I definitely will be eating there again next time I am in that area and am hungry!

I moved to Whitehouse 2 months ago and I’ve heard so many things about this place. Decided to go this weekend with my friend who’s in town from Alliance, Ohio. Let me tell you... this place is ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. We ordered so much food cause we wanted to try as much as we could with this visit. The Delmonico steak was one of the best steaks I have ever had. Loaded pretzel bites were very tasty as well. Friend got the fish sandwich and it was so good. Cooked to perfection. Twice baked sweet potato was interesting, but very good. Definitely get their margaritas! This place is too close to me, so I’m in trouble now that I know how good it is. Definitely worth every penny and will come here as much as I can.

We live in Michigan and went down to The Whitehouse for a family dinner. There were about 12 of us. Our server was EXCELLENT! We had prime rib that was perfect! Steaks that were delicious! Top notch food all the way around! Excellent food and top notch service! Well worth the hour drive! Thanks to our server, chef, bussers !

My sister and I had lunch here on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021. It had been a long while since we last ate here and we were looking forward to a delicious lunch. We were a little disappointed. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer. They were very dough-y, either not cooked long enough or the oil wasn't hot enough when they were dropped. The burger ordered was to come with mayo, but our server brought it when asked. The cheese ordered was not placed on the burger. The waitress made sure though not to charge for the cheese. She apologized for both issues. The wrap was huge and tasted pretty good, but there was a hair inside it. I did not bring this to our server's attention, I felt like we were already "complaining" too much. The fries were hot, crispy, and delicious! The cole slaw that came with both meals was a tiny portion, no bigger than a condiment serving container, but it was good. Finally, I took a slice of cheesecake home to the hubby. He said it tasted as if it had been in the fridge awhile and absorbed other food odors. I did not mention any of our issues we had when he made this comment. I do want to stress though, that our server was friendly, efficient, and pleasant. We may give it another shot in the next couple of months.

Well, aside from the French fries, and side salad, everything else was not good! The bread they serve tastes like it's not cooked. The prime rib was expensive, as expected, but not worth those prices. We sent back the garlic mashed potatoes as well. They were horrible. Not other way to explain it. This place was recommended from tons of people. I guess I don't understand the hype about this place. Our server was quite nice though, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The patrons at the bar were EXTREMELY obnoxious. Loud and boisterous. Must be town regulars. I would NOT recommend this place or come back for the food.
