Regina's Bay Bakery

I was very saddened to see they have closed. This was always a great place to stop in and get my doughnut fix satisfied with great doughnuts, not grocery store bland ones. I'm hoping someone else will come in and take over and keep the tradition of the "Bay Bakery" going. Thanks for the last 15 years Regina's.

I've been a customer for years! Since New ownership the variety and creativity has deteriorated every year. I used to buy liberally take it to work. All the bakery is so much smaller that by Sunday, it's so dry that it's almost inedible. Hate to say it but I'll be spending my money at the store across the street - a much better value.

If heaven had a smell it would be this place. Carrie was the nicest person I've ever met! I was doing a 50mile ride and stopped in for water and left with friendship, cookies and a place to come back to. She treated everyone that came in so amazing, she really represents this business very well. I'm so happy our paths crossed from San Antonio, TXamd I would highly recommend visiting here and meeting Carrie. She is literally a Joy to talk to and really loves what she does and it shows.

Cake is terrific. I get the white cake, with white frosting. It's terrific--- light cake, with delicious frosting. (I read a number of reviews and wonder what kind of cakes they ordered, because the white frosting/white cake brings me to Whitefish Bay from downtown.) Have had mixed results with service--- sometimes great, sometime so-so. But, overall, I love this bakery. Felt I needed to post something since the current reviews do not reflect the quality of the cake.

My experience was not so good. It was the first time going on there. I spent $44 on their shortbread cookies at Easter-time. I WAS SO SICKENED. They gave me 'some' replacement cookies. We were a little scared to eat them; and, they were mostly chocolate of which I DIDN'T want. I've been back there but I am extremely careful with what I but. ALSO: they do not use filtered water for their Koerig coffee and charge $2.00. I understand the history of the store is ??, but I was so 😡. That's a lot of money for hairs in the cookies!! And it wasn't just one. Oh...just thinking of that is enough to make you want to barf. Sorry!: but, 100% truth.

I wish there was a better way to rate other than poor-fair or good.. because this place is honestly somewhere in the middle. I agree with most of the reviewers- the cake is awful. Seriously inches of gross frosting that kids wouldn't eat. The cake was dry. The cake was special ordered and the service wasn't very good. I had to call them to ind out if my cake was ready. Anyway, the cake sucks and is very overpriced, especially when most of it was thrown away. :( But- the cookies and pastries are good! so I'd hope the owner would listen to the customers and change up the cake mixture... My cake was bought 2/12 and I haven't been back since.
