Wicked Awesome Bbq

First timers here. As soon as we arrived we were warmly greeted by our waitress, and she instantly brought toys over for our (almost) 2 year old son! She explained how she provides the toys herself because she knows if the kiddo is occupied & enjoying himself, then the parents will enjoy themselves; I knew from the beginning I wanted to tip her well! The portions are plentiful, even for the kids meal! And everything was truly "wicked awesome", from the food, to the service! We will be back, without a doubt!

WA BBQ was a delicious visit today. I stopped by for lunch, and I’m glad I did! Classic BBQ set up w the smoker(s?) outside under tents. Might have been ten? four tops and a short bar. I ordered the brisket and ribs combo and a cup of chowda. The soup was good, very creamy - and served hot. Not so full of clams as the menu promised, so probably not worth the price. Just had to try. Combos come w salad. I was here for meat, so the salad seemed an afterthought. But, it was VERY good. Fresh, crunchy, and served, in my case, w some excellent blue cheese dressing. But, like I said, I was here for the meat! The brisket was the king here. 8 oz serving was probably overweight. Tender, juicy, beefy and smoky. The pink ring stood out like it was painted on. I could have eaten more, only if I had stretch waist pants on! The 1/3 rack of ribs were OK, but paled compared to the beef. Tender pork just didn’t have the smoke flavor I was wanting. But, I ate it all and would have eaten more. The meal came with a heavenly corn cake cooked in the world’s smallest cast iron “pan”. I thought it was a fun gimmick. But, it was light and fluffy like a pillow made from angel’s wings. Really amazing. My waitress encouraged me to get the excellent potato salad for my side. I think it isn’t always on the menu. My lucky day. They had a nice selection of beers at the bar. I was returning to work. So I had iced tea. Good brew!

The pulled chicken is amazing! The beef brisket literally melts in your mouth!! I didn't feel the sides hold up to the same quality but I don't eat pork so only had the mac & cheese, cole slaw and fries. The mac & cheese was dry. The cole slaw was dry. The fries are more shoestring style and I like steak cut better. The meat was so good that I went a few times.

Stopped today after driving in from Bar Harbor. This was some of the BEST BBQ we've had. The sauces were absolutely amazing. Tender meat, savory sauces, I wanted the flavor to stay with me all afternoon. Unfortunately we're from Michigan, but I'd send anyone close to here to eat. We had Mac and cheese with pulled pork and brisket, and the special, meatloaf sandwich. So good!!

This place is a BBQ Pit heaven. The service and atmosphere are excellent. The beer selection is vast. My husband ordered the brisket. Oh my gosh!! It was so tender. I ordered 1/3 rack of ribs. As you can see from the picture, it was a generous portion. The dry rub and BBQ are a match made in heaven. Their coleslaw was tangy and delicious. Their corn bread on a tiny piping hot skillet with melted butter was also tasty.

3rd time here. Delicious every time. Shredded pork nachos are amazing. Large portion. Ribs tender and finger licking good 😋 Has picnic tables under tent outside. Inside seating as well. I've taken out each time. Bathrooms unisex. Will definitely go back to this awesome barbecue! Went back today 12/2022 & ate inside. Super nice staff, attentive, hot delicious.

This place is 🔥 🔥 🔥!!!! I love, love, loved our meal! The jalapeño poppers were real jalepenos and the filling was delicious and the chutney was just the right level of sweetness to offset the heat! The ribs were fall off the bone tender! The bbq sauce was delicious! The coleslaw was tangy and yummy! The fries were golden and light! The staff was friendly! I have to say I think this is the best bbq I’ve ever had! It was delicious, scrumptious and delighted my taste buds!

Little local joint with some pretty good eats. Pulled pork was listed and sauce over it was good. Brisket was good, couple of the pieces were on the dry side, 3 were nice n moist. Ribs good flavor, have a bite, not my favorite. Cornbread was really good, served in its own micro-sized lodge cast iron skillet! Had 6 beers in draft. Loved the "re-modeled" tree art outside. Staff was friendly and attentive.
