You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't order a veal entree here. Or the mussels fra diavolo. Just to be safe, order both. Don't be afraid of the wait for a table. Order a few drinks at the bar. They know what they're doing.
Great neighborhood restaurant. I took 6 colleagues for a business dinner and this was my first time visiting this restaurant. It was wonderful. The atmosphere is very low key, homey and comfortable, the food excellent, and the service extremely friendly and helpful. Not to mention that the prices are very reasonable. Huge and varied menu, with multiple delicious seafood dishes as daily specials. Highly recommend Francesco's in White Plains.
Food was absolutely delicious yes five stars recommend to anybody who likes Italian food I did take out friendly atmosphere. Waiter was awesome. Yes, I will order from them again.
Exactly how I remembered my favorite Brooklyn Italian places from the 70s and 80s. Food amazing. Atmosphere fabulous. Service excellent! Very good comfortable experience.
Service: Great and very friendly
Atmosphere: Casual, homey and cozy without feeling old or sloppy.
Food: Always excellent, moderate/reasonable portions
Price: A little more than your average pizzeria and a little less than a lot of italian restaurants.
Overall I always enjoy a great meal here in this welcoming white plains staple.
Food is very good only downfall is they will not take any reservations but if you arrive between 5/6pm you will get seating. Usually most busy after 7pm and closed on Monday’s
I first came here 40 years ago, when I lived 2 blocks away. Couldn't resist as I was passing through White Plains. Food is better than ever, tastes home made, atmosphere is throw back neighborhood Italian family restaurant, with a nice menu (something for everyone), and a good wine list for a place like this. They don't rush you, which was perfect for me, I would have stayed and had a second meal if I could.
Great family restaurant💖 Pizza is the best!! Fresh salad with Gorgonzola!! And to top it off, old school pot of espresso!! So glad it’s within walking distance to us!!! We will frequent often ❤️
Always our go to when in town, my husband‘s family has gotten pizza from Francesco’s since they opened. Fast and delicious!!
Always outstanding food and a nice family atmosphere.
Have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. Friday nights and the most delicious sausage pies! Went there for the first time in 5 years, and everything was still delicious. Frank and Francesca are there working hard along with their familial and friendly staff. The decor hasn’t changed in my 38 years of going there, and that’s a great thing if you’re into nostalgia. Francesca let my friend and I in on something I never knew about the pizza…the dough they use to make them is sourdough! Is that the key to what makes them the best pies out there? Not sure, but this place is it for me. Francesco’s is the BEST neighborhood restaurant for Italian food. Oh and one last thing. Call ahead and make a reservation; it can get super busy in the evenings, especially during the weekends!
They don't pick up when you're trying to call in to make an order. I kept on getting hung up on and no one answering the phone.
