Review Mimi's Too Bagels & Deli - Whippany

I stopped at Mimi’s on my way back to NC last month on 10/29/23. I am originally from NJ and wanted to take home bagels since I haven’t been able to find a really good bagel spot in NC. This space was cozy and warm and smelled so good! The staff/owner was attentive and friendly. I ordered a bagel with pastrami and egg and assorted bagels to take home. The bagels were huge, fresh and absolutely delicious! I remember thinking that day as I walked to my car that I should go back in and get more🙂. I highly recommend this spot. I will definitely return when I’m back in Jersey.

Solid little place for breakfast or a pastrami sandwich. A few tables inside, a roomy parking lot you eat outside nice weather.

First day in NJ from Texas and needed a bagel. Upon walking in your greeted with a smile and kindness! These are the best bagels I’ve had in a LONG TIME! Upon leaving we were gifted this custom drawing from the cutest little girl! This made the beginning of our trip already so special!

Order to Taylor, ham, egg, and cheese, as is the standard breakfast a choice in New Jersey. The Taylor ham was well cooked and thick with generous portions. There was also as it seems to eggs on the sandwich. I was genuinely surprised by the amount of protein the sandwich packed. It would’ve got five stars but the bagel was a little chewy and not at the level I normally would expect.

Amazing food, the pastrami and corn beef just melts in your mouth!!! Highly recommend this place for a fresh hot meal any day!!! Here’s a picture of their chicken parmigiana it’s my son’s favorite!

Having been dabbling in the deli business for some 40 years, I consider myself an expert when it comes to subs. This place has one of the best Italian subs in Morris County. While there are some good places in Morristown, there is a better place in Whippany. Quality cold cuts and a crispy on the outside roll are two things I look for. MiMi's has that sub! Service is friendly. They make the sandwiches quickly and the prices are fair. I tried the Fish & Chips Special on a Friday and it was outstanding! Soups are made in house and you can tell. If you are in the area looking for authentic NJ Deli food then this is the place!

Delicious breakfast! So homey here too. I really recommend this spot. Also they use google order and respond very fast to mark the order. As a google fanboy this really is awesome to know a family place is keeping up with the technology age.

I have been to many delis throughout my years to get your typical Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich. And with these outrageous prices and delis skimping out on the portion’s this was the best built breakfast sandwich ive received. Well guys and keep up the excellent work!

I had have my fair share of deli foods and never mind breakfast sandwiches. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel was good and I will try more of the food they offer, good portions, good service and fast. Well done

This is an awesome Deli. Its small, but makes the freshest breakfast sandwiches! These are pretty big and all for a great price! I got a taylor ham and cheese from here. You will be impressed with the size and great portion you receive. Every sandwich is cooked perfectly and to your liking. If you are in the area and looking for a great place to grab a quick and filling bite to eat, come here! All ingredients used are very fresh and I love their bagels too. I highly recommend this place to all lovers of the taylor ham and cheese!

One of the few American Father and Son bagel places around in this area. Called in an order, it was ready in less than 10 minutes, everything was made correctly an 5 Taylor Ham Egg and Cheese bagels was under $40 - cant ask for better quality and service

Well I've found my new breakfast sandwich spot. I've been to a lot of breakfast spots and I don't know what they make their sausage patties out of, but this is the best sausage Egg and cheese sandwich I've ever had bar none. Super friendly guy at the counter as well. Just go here.

Went here yesterday for the first time after closing on a nearby home. My son got the cheesesteak and is highly confident it’s the best thing he’s ever eaten. Such a great place to have found and the gentlemen inside were incredibly nice. We will be very regular customers!

My gf and I were craving sandwiches and we decided to try the Cuban and the NY Pastrami out. I'm not one to leave food reviews. I'm BLOWN AWAY by how good the Pastrami is. It almost melted like butter in my mouth with each bite. Absolutely spectacular! The Cuban was very good as well, an the flavors worked excellently The guys behind the counter bragged about how good their sandwiches we're and they didn't disappoint. You've gained two new loyal regular customers!

Best bagel place ever! Old school great flavor breakfast sandwiches are to die for & has browns are amazing !! The old man with the pen in his hat is the sweetest too! Can’t go wrong with ordering here!

You're not going to go here for the decor. You're going to go here for the best sandwiches in the area. You're going to go here for those sandwiches to be prepared and served by some very nice people indeed. You might come here for extremely generously portioned catering orders as well, by the way. But if you're placing such a catering order for pickup, I recommend leaving enough time to pause and have yourself a sandwich. If I may recommend a pastrami with coleslaw and Russian dressing, it's gonna have heaping amount of meat on it and the pastrami will melt in your mouth. While I'm recommending specifics, they make a heck of a roast beef club as well. I also recommend a diet Dr. Brown's cream soda. Why the DIET cream soda, you ask? Guilty pleasure, for some reason the diet Dr. Brown's cream soda tastes better than the regular. It's practically desert. Go and enjoy!
