Rather yummy falafel and schwarma pitas. You can add a whole assortment of toppings and sauces: lettuce, cabbage, red cabbage, pickles, cucumbers, sauerkraut, pickled cauliflower, hummus, jalepeno sauce, spicy sauce, tzatziki, and more. The fried chicken isn't that good and you can substitute the fr
Great place for shawarma and falafel. I drove from Annapolis all the way to Silver Spring just to try the food and the drive was well worth it. I had the 1/2 shawarma 1/2 falafel combo ($13) and they were so stuffed with great ingredients I honestly couldn't finish the last few bites of the shawarm
We went in for carry out and got the falafel and shawarma plates. We ordered a potato knish that was never given. Easy mix up because of the way that the normal food is at one counter and plates at another. Excellent product.
Great food if you're looking for a nice quick bite. I got the shawarma & fries and everything was very fresh & hot. My only complaint is the place looks alittle run down and the prices are a tad steep for what you're getting.
friendly staff the chill burger was amazing and the place very clean
Love love love the shawarma and falafel here! I try and stop anytime I’m in the area. Authentic as it gets!
This falafel is amazing. The best flavors all in your mouth at once. this is the best falafel you can ever have. If you have nothing else to do today because you're bored. Or you just broke up with your ex who was a total pos and need to cry over food. Go eat this falafel.
Really tasty food and a good experience. Came to try 'real American food' and felt as if I had visited a diner from the movies.
This strip mall shop is the weirdest, dumpiest "restaurant" I've ever been to in America, but the shawarma sandwich was absolutely fantastic! The sandwich assembly staff were really helpful and patient. The floor had ripped up tiles, miscellaneous stuff was stored partially hidden behind black curta
Five stars for most authentic falafel and wide salad choices in the area. If your falafel isn't complete without lefet (pickled turnip) and onions, this is the place. (Can't comment on schwarma, I'm a veg.) No stars for dingy 1950s-cafeteria interior and sometimes surly service. Go for the food, not
Good food. Not so good atmosphere. This is a popular family restaurant, but many families just don't supervise their children. During busy times, there are children acting like its a playground. No one stops them, and no one I know of has been hurt -- yet. They do have the best falafel bar in t
I've only ordered for delivery (thanks to Omicron spreading like wildfire lately), but Max's Cafe has the best shawarma plate I've found in the DC area. They don't just cut up some tomato and cucumber and call it a day! Max offers fantastic sumac onion, red and green cabbage, Turkish onion, Israeli
Limited menu due to covid. Poppers are more like chicken nuggets.
Delicious casual kosher diner. The falafel was especially good, and the shwarma looked amazing. Coming back soon to get that. Prices online were not accurate, I uploaded a photo of new prices.
Some friends recommended this place so we had a group road trip to check it out. Three of the group got a shawarma pita and I got the falafel pita with fries. I told them to add everything and to make it spicy. Wow it was so delicious. There were things on my pita that I normally wouldn’t eat (beets
