Holy moly. The calzones. They are amazing.
Unbelievable Italian food. Could it get any better than Dolce Sicilia? I don't think so. I stumbled upon this place driving down Wadsworth one day. The owners are from Sicily, and everything there is amazing. I'm addicted to just their plain Italian bread dipped in their sauce. Everything is homemade, their pignola cookies are to die for, and they have the best Mediterranean pizza- huge pieces of artichoke and vegetables, and AMAZING crust- really fair prices, too. Oh, and Franco, the owner's son, also straight from Italy, adds to the experience with his good Italian looks and charm to match. Everything about this place is great.
Authentic Italian bakery! My son Scott & I planned an Italian theme for our Christmas menu. He googled It. bakeries & voila! They have a good array of cookies, pastries, breads & pizza. The cannoli's were the best I've ever tasted - crunchy shell, light, creamy sweet ricotta filling. Airy, delectable cream puffs took me back to childhood. I'm saving ( it's well wrapped) the baguette for our dinner on Saturday...and the cookies. This place was worth the drive.
A piece of Italy in Colorado. I just moved here and you don’t understand how happy I am to have accidentally found this. I literally have tears in my eyes. The flavors are just like the ones at home. I only got a few things to try this morning and I haven’t even tried them all yet, but biting into an almond cornetto brought me back home for a minute 🥹 I will definitely go back. It’s pinned on my google maps now 💕 Such a wonderful store, make sure you stop by if you can.
Small bakery in Denver with amazing cookies and pastry options. As an Italian from NY, These are some of the best Italian cookies and pastries I have ever enjoyed... Sorry Grandma. The team is amazing and super friendly! Worth the trip to enjoy these treats on a regular basis.
Amazing pastries and calzones! I would stick to the authentic Italian stuff rather than the American or French basics. The “thumbprint cookies” (I think that’s what they were called) fresh out of the oven were unimaginably soft—pure bite-sized bliss!
Lovely, traditional Sicilian bakery with Italian style pizzas and various sandwiches as well as the bakery goods that were amazing. They had enormous Lobstertails (as pictured) as well as smaller ones. The huge ones were stuffed full of a lovely rich pastry cream, and the shells were crisp and thousand layered. Absolutely delightful, and they had more reasonable mini ones as well, that could well be eaten by a single person. The cannoli were not too sweet, the ricotta cream was rich, and the shells stayed crisp even after getting them home in the car and keeping them in the refrigerator until evening. The Amaretti cookies were wonderful. I haven't had a real pignoli for years, and I went a little nuts when I saw them there. The almond paste cookie is tender, perfumed with almond essence, and melts in the mouth. We got them with both the pine nuts and the pecans and loved every mouthful. The service was friendly, fast, and highly efficient as well as super accurate even when I was stumbling over myself getting out everything I wanted.
Tried this simple yet amazing bakery a few weeks ago for our very first time. The meatball sub, the sausage calzone and the coffee were all delicious. We also brought home some cream puffs and Sicilian pistachio cookies - both of which were amazing treats with coffee later in the day. This is a great place to get your pastries and cookies if you are picky about your baked goods since they are made very well. The marinara sauce is the best I have ever had. Julia who helped us with our order was kind and patient as we decided all the things what we wanted to try. We had such a great time here and highly recommend this place.
Fantastic Italian Bakery!!! Everything is always Delicious & of the best quality! Everyone is also friendly plus they have some scrumptious lunch items!😋100% recommended!!!
Our first time having heard about this bakery for ages and as others have said, it does not disappoint, it's the real deal old fashioned bakery using top shelf ingredients and every item is a work of art visually and a fantastic treat for the taste buds.
We only got the biscotti and cannoli this trip but oh my are they delicious, just look at them!
