I had the pot roast breakfast and my girlfriend had the steak and eggs. Easily the best breakfast I've ever had and I've been all around the world. If you're ever in the area I highly recommend you stop in and grab a bite to eat.
Best breakfast/ brunch in the area! Try the pot roast and eggs! Life changing!!! The staff are friendly and extremely attentive. Never have to ask for refills bc they are so on their game! And they are all so sweet and accommodating!!! Highly recommend!

One of the best diners I have ever been too! From the service to the food there is just nothing I could find wrong with it. The staff as well as "Uncle Charlie" make you feel so welcomed the moment you walk in the door. No matter what I ate it just kept getting better and better. If you are in the Massachusetts area you should definitely find time to stop here!
I've been coming here since I was a little girl, and any time I'm in the South Shore now I make it a point to come in. The food is always delicious and the service is great. "Linda's Favorite" is my favorite :)
Don't be quick to over look this review: yes I work at uncle charlies Finder diner and In all my years of jobs this has absolutely been my favorite it's awesome when you look forward to going to work. And it's the wonderful customers and atmosphere we have at uncle charlies. Too me this is my second family all the employees have the same mission on thier mind to make great food and keep great customers happy if you have any type of issue please let a waitress know we all work together and will be gladly to resolve your issue with a smile and a sincere apologies. Being a waitress I've been to many resturants and u seriously do not get the service and fun like you do at charlies were are 1 of a kind place who loves thier customers "great staff great food"
My kids and i loved this place. The sign caught our eye first "Uncle Charlie's Finer Diner: Try our Great Staff Great food" The staff was better then great. Very interactive, one even played the Name Game song with us. Our food was fantastic. Kids got the Reeses pieces pancakes and they were fantastic. One tip is that they are Cash Only
Everytime I call for take out the people who answer the phone are always so friendly. It's a pleasure speaking to them - unlike other places that sound like someone ran over their cat. Food is always great. Homefries are the best. �

Love this place...the waitstaff is awesome always...Obviously the food is great but THE nicest waitstaff I have ever seen on the Southshore since I moved here 6 yrs ago.

My husband and I love Uncle Charlie's, the food is always great, portions are huge and the waitresses are wonderful!
Been here many times and have never been disappointed! They're open for breakfast and lunch only, and if you want a cheeseburger at 7:00a in the morning, they'll make it for you 👍 Everything on their menu is available to order the entire time they're open😉 They have a very good menu, tasty food, and their service is outstanding! 👍👍 I put their wait staff above any big, fancy restaurant in Boston that's for damn sure! Always friendly, and right on top of their game👌 You never have to wait for more coffee, extra napkins, condiments, etc! Moreover, your meal comes out hot! How many restaurants do that! More restaurants should follow how Uncle Charlie's operates☝️
For me as foreigner it was the first time that I had the chance to try the American “home-style” cuisine.
The five stars are given for the food and the chef who prepared the food! Amazing! I loved it!
On the other side, the staff was unbelievably unfriendly.
Maybe my German accent is not an advantage and this area is not very welcoming when it comes to people from outside.
P.S. If you do not want anyone to touch the flatware which is openly available right next to the pick up desk, just store it somewhere else...
Just tried this little spot today and the service was great & fast. French toast is amazing and so are the homefries! And the prices are great as well. I'll continue coming here!
My mother and I ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheeses on english muffins. It was hot, fresh and very tasty. The total price was $15 and we took them to-go.
Delicious food nice staff and short wait times I can see it from my house nice walking over there on a day off to have breakfast my family loves it only take away is I wish they had a bigger dining area the seating is the only take away but the food is worth all of it

Food was fresh and very good. Staff was very friendly and even got a chance to meet Charlie!! Whenever I’m in the Weymouth, MA area again Uncle Charlie’s Finer Diner is on my list for breakfast. If you live in this area you are very lucky and I’m sure you know about the great food at Uncle Charlie’s Finer Diner.
This is one of our favorite breakfast places. We've been going there for years. We started when we lived in the South Shore, but now that we've moved we can only make it down there on special occasions. The home fries are the best around. :D There's often a wait to get in, but it's worth it.
