Restaurant Pomodoro

Went to this restaurant for dinner with family. Ambience is ok but not great. Based on google reviews we expected so much but it was a bummer. The garlic bread sticks is not that great. We ordered a medium size pizza. It was close to $20 bucks but not worth it. The one we get from domino’s or Pizza Hut tastes better then this for or less price. The menu prices are different from what is been charged. We were charged more.The service is ok. But I would not recommend this to anyone.

YUM + It's like the hidden gem you wanted to find but didn't know about! We've eaten inside, but not thrilled with that experience, however, the takeout pizza experience is a game-changer. When it comes to take out. Anyone that loves Cenci's pizza, try Pomodoro for takeout, because IMO it is the same taste, same crust and.... it is cheaper! Who knew? I didn't until tonight, when we were looking for pizza without a 1 hour wait! Way more BANG for your BUCK HERE without the drive up to 19 if you live in Franklin Park, Ingomar, etc. The pizzas are made to order and fast!

We have been passing this place for a very long time, and every time, I think to myself that we should try it. But we never do. So we decided to try it, and man, were we surprised! The place was packed. The menu has a nice mix of items, from pizza to dinners to a nice mix of appetizers. The beer list had more IPAs for our liking, but they had enough of other types to satisfy us. The waitress mentioned the menu will be changed and some of the items will be removed. I hope they don't remove too much. I saw a bunch of items I wanted to try to make up for all this time lost.... Great place! We will be back! If your reading this, whit reading and go!

Ordered chicken Parmesan for my niece’s baptism. Called and got a quote of 180 dollars for 30 pieces. I called a few days later to inquire about adding an additional 5 pieces. Not concerned with the price of adding 5 more pieces since the initial quote I received was for 180 dollars for 30 pieces. I assumed the price per chicken cutlet was around 6 dollars per piece. Upon arrival to pick up the chicken I was charged 372 dollars for 35 pieces of chicken parm. This adds up to be 10 plus dollars a piece and not the original 6 plus dollars I was quoted when I called. Now mind you I had to call a few times to confirm because they had the date wrong for pick up. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told she is away in Vegas for a funeral and there was nothing they could do for me. This isn’t good business practice. I should have been quoted the correct price from the beginning. That’s a huge price difference. We order Catering for many events from here as well as frequent the restaurant to dine there. Highly disappointed with the way this was handled today.
