Perry's Bakery

I happened upon this little gem whilst on my way to visit my son at UMASS/Dartmouth. I had been curious about what was down that little road. And I am a sucker for obscure looking places. You really need to go inside to get a real flavor for what Perry's has to offer. I fell in love with the sour cream sticks. I was going to take a picture of it to post but I couldn't keep it from jumping into my mouth, so I had to eat it. It is SUPERB. I know my bakery, folks. And the other offerings are all from scratch, not just some bake off from some other vendor. This is the real deal. Friendly folks, a cuppa good joe (I know my joe, too), and I am on my way. And after I tried that first bite of the sour cream stick, I knew I should have bought whatever was left. Shoot! Open early. Get in there. Try real good bakery. You won't be sorry. It's a real treat to stop at Perry's. I'll be back. Promise.

Been here a couple of times. Selection is very limited but what I’ve had from their offerings are quite good. Staff has always been friendly and hospitable toward me. The owner was present today and we got to chatting. I asked what was most popular and she noted her cinnamon sticks. I asked for a couple and grabbed a few tins of their ready to bake cinnamon buns (so awesome). She told the girl working the counter not to charge for the cinnamon sticks because she knew I’d be back for more anyway. Good call!

I stopped at Perry's this morning hoping to get some gluten free pastries. Unfortunately, the young woman behind the counter told me they stopped their gluten free goods because they were not selling enough and going to waste. While I was disappointed, I still picked up a delicious looking raspberry bear claw for my friend. The young woman working there was bubbly, genuine and it was great to receive such a perky "good morning". I give it four stars for its lack of allergen friendly desserts but I still had a positive experience overall. Jealous of those who get to try their amazing looking products!

I just stopped in@ Perry's Bakery for their delicious cinnamon sticks. They are amazing. But found out that there hasn't been much biz lately. You have to stop in and give them a try. Fresh goodies, pies, chourico pops, cookies and even coffee or tea. Don't let another family business fail. There's nothing like a good bakery that makes everything from scratch. Give them a try... You won't be disappointed 😃

I stopped in over the holidays, first time here- because I wanted freshly baked cookies for a party. I was disappointed because 40 cookies later a $75 bill. I was shocked at the cost and that I wasn't given a bulk discount. More so, some of the cookies were just so...so and not worth the cost of $1.50 each. There was one wityh macadamia nuts I was looking forward to that just were not good at all. I felt like I wasted my money and I was embarrassed. I didn't want people to know how much I had paid. I felt dupped. 😔
