The playhouse is always a pleasure to visit. A brilliant, small venue that is the real deal. It's authentic throughout and still has intervals in some of its shows! Just like the good ol' days... So with that in mind, stop watching that 55", 8k, smart, Alexa compatible box of tricks and go and experience some live performances/reality. ❤️

A good traditional local theatre. Nice bar with reasonable prices. My only criticism is the seats are a bit narrow but leg room is good. Sound system sounds good.

Watched a fabulous Joe Brown concert. What a talented multi-instrumentalist performer he is with excellent musicians supporting him.

Fantastic for the pantomime. Good atmosphere, drinks are reasonably priced and the view is good from where ever you sit. Nice use of lights and sounds during the performance. We keep coming back for the pantomime and might look at one of the many other performances throughout the year. Quite a good mixture of shows.

Close parking, easy to get to theatre from carport, carport cheap as long as you press 'after 1800' button. Theatre is clean and enough room for legs. (Disabled access is unknown). Comfy seats. Good play easy exit. Good variety of acts, plays etc. I also love the pantomimes nearer Christmas. It equals the Hippodrome but a lot closer and easier parking and cheaper.

Very active local theatre. Some wonderful performance's. Just took my little one to the Christmas production of Cinderella. She loved it, great use of stage, lighting and effects. Little one loved it. Well worth a visit!

Traditional theatre, clean and well maintained, well stocked bar, helpful staff. As you might expect leg room limited and seating not intended for those of us who have eaten too much over the years! Plenty of eating houses around. Parking free after 6pm. Joe Brown show brilliant !!!!

Went to watch the spirit of the dance. This was a very good show with lots of variety. I would definitely recommend going to see it, the dancing and singing was amazing. Well done to them.
