This would've been a 5- star review but the service was really slow.
The food was delicious and obviously homemade. We tried the Kebbah and hummus for an appetizer. The lamb shish kabobs were perfect and the chicken kabobs were really good as well.

We had a variety of apps and some shawarma. Service was amazing, food was prepared perfectly. It looked as good as it tasted. Easily the best Mediterranean food in the area. Please check this place out and bring your appetite! I'm already looking forward to trying the entire menu.
Tried the chicken shawarma sandwich here. It's enormous!! The biggest shawarma wrap I have ever had. While it's definitely not authentic but it's pleasant tasting and filling. It's not made out of a rotating spit and it has some tomato paste influence.

Wonderful little find. The chicken shawarma is flavorful, moist, and plentiful with the plate serving. Plate was served with yellow rice and an orange/reddish colored rice with a flavor I have never had; it was very good. Service is attentive and fast. I will be back the next time through Chicago.

Awesome restaurant! The owner and chef were very friendly and personable. The atmosphere is welcoming and has a home feel to it. Of course, food is spot on delicious! I feel comfortable giving it 5/5 and highly recommend readers to go and see for themselves!
I cannot say enough good things about this place. Every item we had was ridiculously delicious - we had the beef toshka to start and it was crispy and cheesy and flavorful. We each had one of the mixed grills (seafood and regular) and all of it was amazing and perfectly cooked.

Awesome food! Clean and very courteous server! The food was phenomenal and reasonable. There was so much left over. They definitely give a good proportion that you can again enjoy at home. I absolutely recommend trying Maura’s!👍👍
We went for lunch. We were waited on immediately, starting with the lemon and licorice tea (they offer a selection of flavors), which is really very good. We had the hummus appetizer and I had the Chicken Taouk. The "special Maura's seasoning" was just spicy enough for me.

First time and will definitely be back. Had the pulled pork sandwich, fries, choc. chip cookie...all were fantastic! Can't wait to go back and try the hamburgers. The owners couldn't be friendlier or more attentive. Great place, highly recommend.
Wife: “really good food”. Surprising find in downtown Westmont. Excellent hummus - fresh, well flavored. Same with lamb, beef, chicken and two kinds of rice that I tried. Better than our favorite Persian restaurant that closed down. Worth the trip.

This will be my third visit to this place and it is absolutely fantastic. You get more than your money's worth and the food is excellent. How you recommend the lamb shish kabobs. Plus they have some fantastic hummus and freshly baked Pita is that are to die for. I'm sure I'll be visiting this place
