Great sandwiches. This place has great sandwiches good pricing too. They are better than lees sandwiches. Te only thing is that it is so chaotic in there your not sure if your order was taken or not.... Just like shops in Vietnam
They have outstanding baguette. So good in fact, it almost tastes like a cake. The sandwiches are really good too.
Better Than Lee's Sandwiches. I mainly buy the Vietnamese French baguette sandwiches. They give you a lot more meat than their competitor, Lee's Sandwiches, and much cheaper. There's the buy 2 at $2.50 and get one free deal. The only thing I don't like is there is no rhyme or reason to the ordering system. They holler at you & you holler back your order & amazingly, they remember u and your order. Be careful of the little old ladies who just cut in front of you. They may be small, but they are not afraid of anyone. I've see them cut in front of 6'4 white guys without even flinching. The wait for your sandwiches can take a long time, but so is the wait at Lee's. I've never gone back to Lee's sandwiches after comparing the two places.
If you are in the Westminster/Garden Grove, CA area bring your $5 (cash) to this former Taco Bell location to get your three Vietnamese sandwiches. All the seats have been removed from the location so don’t count on eating in…there are a few seats outside if you really need to eat right away. But you are in SoCal, enjoy the beautiful weather
Located on Brookhurst and McFadden in Westminster, this little shop looks like an old Taco Bell that got taken over.
4:45 am Sat 12/16. New hrs of 4 am - 9 pm but when i arrived the lady informed me the bread was still baking so would be possibly another 60 mins for banh mi sandiwches for sale. Instead i bought 5 eggrolls for $4, great and delicious. They have minimal staffing so you have to get their attention when you're ready to order (i saw total 2 employees and they were busy cooking/baking when i entered).
My to go for banh mi and Che place. Love the pork skin sandwich and the sticky rice options.
Che 3 mau and boba are so yummy that it become also routine to go 😅
At busy time, staff can be a bit tempered and impatient with orders.
I like this restaurant, cashier is friendly and attentive to customers.
Takes about 10 minutes to wait for the French bread sandwiches. I know, I know that I am cheap, buy two get one free.
Baguette is very good.
Saw buy 2 get 1 free Banh Mi so I had to go and get me some. FYI the deals only apply to the French bread Banh mi and not the baguettes but still a pretty good. On this day, we decided on a bunch of their Banh Mi Thi Nuong, Banh Mi Ga, and Banh Mi Nem Nuong, all at 3.75$ each. The thi nuong were excellent and very flavorful. The ga and nem Nuong were just ok, just my favorite. The bread itself were light, and crusty, 4/5 to my taste. They also make and sell Che deserts and other bake goods. Overall, I don’t think you can really beat the Banh Mi deal here. Will have to come back to try the other goodies that they have.
Love their prices. The sandwiches are ok. Did not like the BBQ pork flavoring. The che/desert is ok as well. They were busy but quick.
Delicious authentic Vietnamese eatery, for to go, but has deals for BOGO sandwiches and drinks as well as an assortment of sticky sweets.
They primarily serve sandwiches, iced coffees, sticky sweets, egg rolls, french baguettes. Often times that may have some other baked goods, snacks, spring rolls or vermicelli.
A few things to keep in mind:
Entrance is at the front of the store, closest to register, prepare to speak clear and concise as often times the cashier does not speak fluent English. Oh, and bring cash, card is not accepted.
There’s two locations side by side. This one has just a take out window and no seating. The other bigger one has seating and hot foods. Pricing should be the same at both.
Very busy. It always has very long lines. But the food is really good. Adore the little boba balls they use in the Thai teas
There’s usually a line but it moves pretty fast. Buy 2 get 1 free baguette sandwiches are shorter than the regular baguette sandwiches but it’s still a good deal.
Reasonable price. Food is good. Great selection of banh mi and che aka desserts. There are a lot of different kinds of snacks.
I go to this place to get vegan food. Me and my wife love the food. The only problem is the staff's poor knowledge of English. So I find it difficult to get an explanation of the food being served. Otherwise everything else is ok.
Yum! The perfect place to get any vietnamese sub sandwich and a coffee. Open 24 hours and I love it. They have all the vietnamese staples.
Check it out!
Got the #22 gio thu head cheese with extra meat. Kid you not, this specific BMCC packs it like it’s the end of the world and that it’s your last meal. Maybe I have a weak arm or something but what I can tell you is that it weighed down my left arm when carrying it back to the car. Look at the cross section....what the hay! It was so massive that it took 3 sitttings to finish the 1 sandwich and that was all I could eat for that whole day. Flavor was pretty good, plenty of pate, fresh cilantro, carrot, daikon, and sliced jalapeño peppers which were pretty spicy. And yeah, I did spell sitting with 3 t’s because that’s how solid this sandwich was
I don't easily give 5-stars but this place deserves it. Fresh baked on-site bread, great price-to-value, tasty ingredients, a definite to do list when in L.A. If you buy several sandwiches and have leftovers the next day, just pop them in the toaster oven for a bit and you have a fresh sandwich again, that's how great the bread/baguette is.
Amazing vegetarian selection. The value and the quality make it an easy choice for a great lunch. A+

Food is decent & cheap but service is very pressing @ the cashiers! I seems like they are not having enough staff!
