The restaurant was great, so much so that we visited it two consecutive nights during our visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and prices were good. We have been to West Yellowstone multiple times and we wished we would have visited Bullwinkles sooner. Our snowcoach driver, Shaggy, recommended Bullwinkles to us so we gave them a try and we are glad we did. The huckleberry cheesecake was amazing. One of the best restaurant desserts we have had. It was so good that the next evening after dinner we went back to Bullwinkles for dessert and shared another huckleberry cheesecake. This is now one of our favorite restaurants in the area.

I ordered the vegetarian tacos which were pretty good. Wish I had known they were hard shell or would have made a swap for soft if possible. Staff is super friendly and they have a nice selection of beers. My friends I was with told me the chili was delicious. I'd definitely come back here!

Food: 5 Stars Service / Staff: 4 Stars Recommended Dishes: 1. Elk Ravioli 2. Broasted Chicken 3. Bison Tomahawk (special may not be available) I thought the food was great. The people were nice, I’m giving them a four instead of a five because the fit of the interaction wasn’t quite right for me. However I wouldn’t give them anything lower than that, at the end of the day they were pleasant... for the most part. Many of the other dishes were pretty darn good too. They have an awesome local beer collection.

My family is absolutely mortified. I don't leave bad reviews... ever. But beware of the server named Gabriel. He is charming and always on the move. But flipping tables is the priority here. We waited for our table just like everyone else, I appreciate the hostess getting us in as fast as she could, we all have worked the service industry, it isn't easy, especially now. Our first round of drinks were slow (but the huckleberry margarita was great), the food came out at a normal speed, with one order wrong that we had to wait on, and we asked Gabriel before the food came out for another round. He said he would be right back to take the drink order which took him about 10 more minutes to take the order and then the drinks took until after our food was finished to come, we understood he was busy so we didn't think anything of it. He brought us our check, we gave him his 20% tip (which wasn't small considering what we ordered). When he brought our beers he came right back to take our receipt with the tip already on it. We had only taken a sip or two of our beers and he came back to take the empty cups from our previous drinks (of which we just finished). He then said and I quote verbatim, "I'm just going to clean this here because of the 100 people waiting outside to get a table and you have got to be considerate of others." We were stunned. We were so shocked we couldn't even respond. He came back by within the minute and just looked at our table and made us extremely uncomfortable. My brother in law finally spoke up for all of us and stated, "we got our beers well after our food, your comment was disrespectful." And Gabriel responded with, "I wasn't trying to rush you guys." And I responded with, "that was extremely rude and kind of just ruined our entire night." Gabriel then came back with, "That's just how we do." And then walked away. Wow. I still am in shock. This was absolutely horrifying and we definitely paid enough money to sit at that table for an hour. We walked outside, there were maybe 10 people waiting. And we waited longer, I assure you. This was so hurtful and uncomfortable. In all fairness, the atmosphere was good, the food was good, but the last few minutes really ruined the night for us. I work in the tourist industry and I understand it can get overwhelming, but I was extremely disappointed by this experience and was really looking forward to being the tourist.

We ate here in late October while visiting Yellowstone. The food was very good. My husband ordered the Elk Ravioli - superb! I didn't think I would like it, but it was very good. I had the spaghetti - excellent. We also tried several huckleberry items - a margarita, a lemonade, and the cheesecake. All were delicious! Due to the late season - the waiter said some items were unavailable since they were closing soon, but that was not a problem for us. Also it was a little pricy, but to be expected since it's a tourist town. Overall one of the better meals we enjoyed while visiting Yellowstone. Would return.

This restaurant has 3 separate areas and where I ate at was the diner, not the casino/bar area. Came in during dinner rush about 8pm, it was not too long of a wait for seating. And this place did their best to spread tables out for distancing. Our server was very pleasant and looked like they were attending a good amount of the tables so I say that they provided great service. We ordered the onion rings, which I have to say on their own was very well done. We got a Bison bleu burger and the Mushroom Ragu. Both were very good. We also tried the Huckleberry cheesecake for dessert, and my goodness was it so satisfying to end our excellent meal. I do recommend this place to give a chance.

Just like the rest of the town they have about 300% more business than last year, but they handle it well. The staff (especially Amber) are wonderful. The food is great (try the elk ravioli). Around dinner time there's often a long wait so call ahead and make a reservation.
