We were looking for healthy, filling comfort food on our road trip. As vegetarians/vegans Thai food is one of our go-to cuisines. This seemed like a family owned business with authentic Thai food which was reasonably priced and tasty! They also had a large selection of vegetarian and vegan recipes and also accommodated deleting certain ingredients to make it vegan. I'd 100% recommend stopping here if you're looking for some comfort food! Only con is that they're takeout only.
This is hands down the best Thai food on Cape Cod I’ve had every where and this place blows anywhere else out of the water. I eat here at least 3 times a week 😁. Highly recommend them. The pineapple fried rice and scallion pancakes is a must have.
We ordered takeout twice from Basil Thai Cuisine and it was really good. Our favorites are the Pad See Ew and the Pad Thai. The service was very prompt, around 10 minutes, and the flavor was great for the red curry, pad thai, and pad see ew. The dry noodles are more flavorful and tasty than the soup noodles. Definitely give this a try if you want a break from American Cape food!
Food was spot on. Ordered crispy pad Thai, crab Rangoon and golden triangle. All delicious, take out only. Took approximately 30 minutes for food, phone was ringing off the hook…Will be back.
My wife and I live very close to here, when we first moved to south Yarmouth we gave Basil Thai a try. Glad we did. This place is the best takeout Thai food on cape cod no debate.

Amazing!! I’ve been coming here for years and think it’s the best Thai in the mid-Cape area. I love the Midnight Magic stir fry (with tofu instead of chicken). The Tom Yum soup is always super flavorful too. Portions are more than adequate! The exterior of the restaurant may not look like much, but don’t be dissuaded. The interior is super clean and the food is incredible. Very nice, humble, and appreciative staff too!

I love their food and my only qualm is the lack of consistency. Sometimes the food is super flavorful and moist and other times it's somewhat bland and dry. I always order pineapple fried rice w/ extra beef and up until this last time I ordered it, it didn't seem like I was ever getting the extra beef I paid for. On a positive note, the portions are very generous and I usually get 2 meals out of one. Also, the staff is always friendly!
Always great...fresh....delicious flavors...puts up with my "leave this out, add that issues" due to allergies without a blink! Have NEVER messed up my orders once...a lovely PLUS on Cape Cod...you live here, you get me!! Love them...Tamarind Duck is outstanding...Yellow Curry so-o-o good. One of my fave mid-Cape restaurants by far 💜
Awesome food. Don’t let the storefront dissuade you and instill a sense of apprehension about the oncoming meal. The food was really good. The night magic chicken, pad see ew with chicken, yellow curry with shrimp, pad Thai no meat with vegetables, and vegetarian red curry, and Thai iced tea. Each dish was well seasoned and spiced, and since we took out the food it lasted the time test. Everything cooked well, and the Thai iced tea was a nice and sweet. Must eat here if in Yarmouth.
We ordered vegetarian fried rice and some veggie entrees. It would've been nice if the veggie fried rice had some spices to add flavor. The sauteed entrees were above average. But what I loved about these people is their hard work. It seems to be a family run restaurant. I went in just 15 mins before they were closing and hadn't pre-ordered. So, they pretty much had 15 mins to prepare the food items. They were done in about 10 mins.
Take out only, but Everything on the menu is made to perfection and flavorful. recommend the TomYum soup. And any of their entire dishes. Very speedy and good quality food. You don’t feel like it’s heavy, nor fried it bad oils. A++
