I'd like to give Foodtown 5 stars but, alas their customer service sux. Otherwise, I love the place! It's quite like a museum of international cuisine. Their produce department alone is the size of an entire Aldis market, because they carry stuff you won't see anywhere else. All types of Asian melons, tubers, herbs, mushrooms, leeks, you name it! The meat and frozen food departments are a revelation! You can buy everything from lamb brains to beef testicles. Oh, and there's a stack of lower cow legs on ice. Hooves, fur, and all! Lord knows what those are for! There's even a tank with live frogs, for frog's legs! And another with live crabs. And a third with live crayfish. Drinks and drink mixes you've never heard of. I could go on. I've seen people of all kinds in there - East Indian, Oriental, Carribean Islander, Muslim, et al! I've even seen Chinese takeout owners in there for supplies! Let's not forget the kitchen, which serves lunch and dinner from umpteen cultures. Interestingly, what I did not notice is the foul smell a lot of reviewers have commented on. Unless they simply don't like the smell of a fresh seafood marked. Because, yes. That will be your first olfactory impression of the place. And, yes. The exterior, especially, is a bit raggedy. And in a sketchy area. Still, well worth the visit. I'll go back. Again, and again!

The Vegetables native to other lands, the aisles of spices and ingredients from all over the world. I was astounded. I don't think I have ever seen Ash Gourds or Wintermelons that size in my life. Everything you need to cook every cuisine you want. Go here. PS: there is Zaatar from every region. Amazing.

This place offers practically food and spices from around the globe. Fresh seafood, Vegetables, fruits, etc... I mean even that is from around the globe. I have bought fruits here I haven't seen since my childhood in Southeast Asia. Staff are very helpful. The prices are pretty good too. Man I miss this place.

Great variety and low prices. Everything you could possibly want if you’re from the islands. Fast check out service. Why 3 stars? The isles are extremely tight. I felt overwhelmed by ppl keep asking me to “move over”. Old rusty shopping carts- not very inviting to touch. This first and last visit was worth it tho. Got fresh mutton and oxtail at a reasonable price. 👍👍

One of my favorite places to get fresh fish and shell fish. Unfortunately, there is only one person attending the crowded fish stand. Got to be patient and be prepared to wait a long time. Managers could improve a bit on this area

Forgetaboutit, I never have I seen a one shop of international foods in one place. This place is amazing. I found this place as I was driving by and noticed the name of the store, being from NYC. I was so impressed with the layout and the food cafeteria. The food is delicious. The second time I visit the store I took some friends from Georgia and they were all so impressed and loved the food cafeteria oxtails, curry goat, curry chicken, and rice it was all delicious. Love it.
