I would have rated it 5 stars (which is what they normally deserve), but one of the cupcakes tasted stale, as if they'd come from a 3-day old batch. I've been coming here on and off for the last 22 years (drove from pa to NJ twice just for specialty bday cakes, and this last time flew in from Nashville), and this is the first time I felt like I didn't get top quality everything. Still coming back though 💯
Been in a few times to pick out random treats for my fat self and recently ordered a birthday cake 3 days ahead of time online as well. Excellent on every account -- I will definitely be back.
I've been going to Supremes since I was a child. They never fail. Now I'm raising my granddaughter on Supreme Bakery. The best in Essex County.

I've had a few cakes and desserts here over the years and it's always been delicious. Most recently I bought their strawberry shortcake and it was amazing. It's our preferred cake - so we highly recommend it. Their Russian Apple Pastry in the case in the middle of the store is a delicious little secret that you should look out for. I'll keep coming back!
