Podnuh's Bar-b-q

We didn’t plan on eating here at first, but everywhere else was packed so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did! It was SO good! The ladies were real friendly and patient with us. It was quick and easy service. You definitely get your bang for your buck. The food was delicious and if we’re ever out this way again, we definitely plan on stopping by.

Staff members were incredibly rude, especially one cutting/serving meat. I wish I knew her name. She was rude to our family, and other customers on the phone and in the restaurant. I have rarely, if ever, experienced staff so rude at a restaurant. Food was decent, but pulled beef was unseasoned and lacking flavor. Would not visit this restaurant again due to staff.

Absolutely the worst barbecue I have ever tasted! My daughter and I traveled from Alaska to our home here in North louisiana. Of course, we were looking for some good barbecue and in the past had had good experiences with Podnuhs. It didn't start out good. The lady screamed "Can I help you?!?!" I asked her if she could wait a few minutes and let us gather our thoughts about the menu. 15 seconds later, "can I help you?" There were no cars in the parking lot, no cars in front of us nor behind us, either. Not sure what the rush was? We ordered our meals. The pork sausage was not cooked in the middle and I might as well go to the store, put it in the oven and baked it for a few minutes. No seasoning, no Smoky taste, no nothing! The sliced brisket was so tough I could not swallow it except for whole pieces. Again, no smoke to taste, no distinguishing flavor at all. Just plain meat. I didn't even eat the whole thing. Brisket is supposed to be tender not tough and chewy. The barbecue sauce seem like it was ketchup and lemon juice. There just really was nothing signature to what used to be a really good restaurant. My family and I will not be using Podnuhs anymore. The place looks run down and they are just not taking care of it. One more business down because of poor management, higher prices, and lower quality food. Really sad! Don't go to Podnuhs!

I eat at the West Monroe , La store very often . I just went to get something to eat . The staff was very rude , food was all over the floor & bar . One worker who checked me out , she also had a attitude & mumbled under her breath . The worst treatment I have ever gotten . With no one else to wait on , theylooked at me & kept talking to each other for at least 5-10 minutes
