Enjoyed a wonderful brunch at Taste on Melrose in West Hollywood. Crossiant breakfast sandwich was superb. Enough for two, but I soldiered through and loved every bite. Other breakfast choices were shared by our table, and all were delicious. Taste opens at 11:00 am, so plan accordingly. Not overpriced for locale. Give it a try!!!

Delicious food, great service, wonderful ambiance. Yummy! Every dish was tasty from the meatballs to the bread pudding, you will not be disappointed. The prices are extremely reasonable which is the icing on the cake. Will return again and again.
Really great food and atmosphere. Service was way slow late on Saturday evening. Reservation was for 8:30. Did not eat desert until close to 11.
DineLA Success. Had a great DineLA experience at Taste. I had the soup, pasta with peas and cream sauce, and finished with the chocolate chip bread pudding.

A Taste of Taste!. Super cute restaurant, GREAT food, and good service. What's not to love?! We ordered the Kobe Burger with pommes frites, Fig and Proscuitto pizza and the favorite salad. Everything was delicious! We also had two of their desserts (don't judge us) -- the banana pudding and flourless chocolate cake. Both exquisite! My TASTEbuds were fulfilled! :)

Nice Place for Sunday Brunch. Taste on Melrose is a nice place to eat, especially to enjoy Sunday brunch with patio seating. They have great food with a friendly staff. The Kobe Sliders and Mac & Cheese are good, and the drinks are strong. On weekends for brunch, they have a very nice 2-course prix fix menu with bottomless champagne or mimosa! And don't forget to try dessert - chocolate bread pudding is yummy. Street and valet parking are available.
Cozy atmosophere, tasty food. The heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad was TO DIE FOR!. Loved the Calamari as well. I only went for drinks and appies, but I'll be back .. .
I've heard so much stuff about Taste on Melrose . I've seen that building so many times on Melrose with the words "taste" on it. "What is Taste" I would ask myself. Thanks to Dine LA's Restaurant Week, I took advantage of their 3 course menu. Looking at their menu, I realized that all or most of the items were the popular dishes. I took my girlfriend, my partner in crime, and had an amazing lunch. We started off with the white truffle oil mushroom mac and cheese. This could possibly be the top 10 best Mac and Cheese I have ever had. Not only were the mushrooms tasty inside, but the noodles were cooked perfectly. What makes this dish is the truffle oil. I know that stuff is expensive, and that's why it tastes so good. It gave it that rich buttery and savory flavor. Honestly, this mac and cheese was top notch. I also tasted the lobster bisque. We were a little late for lunch which meant we easily got a table, peak times I suggest you reserve ahead. The food was tasty and mostly good value but some more so than others - $14 for a toasted cheese sandwich with fries is expensive.
The service was perky, if somewhat overworked as it took some time to attract attention and our cheque but overall we enjoyed our visit and will return when next in town
Taste On Melrose is one of LA's hippest brunch spots. Ultra chic Hollywood hopefuls alongside of handcrafted cocktails with a Kobe burger make this place popping. Yet, the sweet tasting crispy bacon inside a viscous side of macaroni and cheese still isn't enough to cover up some of the front of house issues. With no reservations, expect to wait up to an hour or so. Once seated, our beverages and appetizers still didn't make it to our table until another hour. Don't fret because management is cognizant of their spotty service and will amend your bill to make up for any misadventures. Still, this Parisian-style sidewalk dining experience is still worthy of your patronage, especially if you have a flair for fashion and enjoy people watching.
Their Mac and cheese was delicious. I would come back just for that. I was pretty disappointed with their burgers though. We got the impossible burger and the Kobe burger. The impossible burger's bun was rock hard and dry, I could barely chew it. They were really nice about changing it for me though, I got their regular bun to replace the rock. My boyfriend said the Kobe burger wasn't anything special and wouldn't order it again. Maybe this place just isn't good at burgers, I'd say stick to something else if you come here. Other than the burgers, everything else was great. The ambiance was pleasant, the service was very good, and price was fair. Don't forget to order the Mac and cheese!
Super cute patio! The salmon in the tacos was cooked beautifully and the cauliflower appetizer was delicious! The service was also pretty good and the prices were reasonable :) the dessert wasn’t the best but still yummy! We went for brunch and it was a lovely time
I enjoyed my time at Taste on Melrose, with it's traditional take on New American. Service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The avocado toast, macaroni & cheese, and the blackened salmon tacos I had were all fresh, high quality, organic, and tasty. Very well presented!
My absolute favorite was the cocktail I had with St. Germain called the Menage á Trois, simply excellent! Hats off to the bartender.
Great food! I had the White Truffle Oil Mac and Cheese and the Crispy Parmesan Chicken Paillard, with the Key Lime Pie. Everything was fragrant and tasty. I highly recommend!
This place definitely was way better than I thought. The food here was amazing. The place it's a bit tight seating and only real parking option is valet. The staff was also quite friendly. The French toast is a must try. Also avacado sandwich was amazing.
My entire experience at the restaurant was amazing. Walked in without a reservation and still got an amazing seat with my mate.(As amazing as this restaurant is, MAKE A RESERVATION! WE WERE LUCKY) Our server Andy fave such exceptional service that I thought we were at a 5 diamond restaurant. Not only that but the food/drinks were so Amazing that I was only able to snap 2 photos. I couldn't help but dig into everything AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. The Key Lime pie was so unique that I became a pie lover. Andy's service and the chef and cooks food and the Bartendars drinks made me fall in love with eating out again.
I was very hungry so ordered the brunch burger. The Bloody Mary wasn’t the best, but still hit the spot. Was hands down one of the best places to eat for brunch in the area!
Rancheros was good to come it may be a little overwhelming with the tomatoes but still very flavorful. The only recommendations I️ would make as far as the restaurant is considered is the menu needs a through cleaning before presented to customers. You only get once shot at a first impression.
Great ambience and food overall. I had the burger. Their service was good, we had a short haired lady who was fun and attentive.
