I enjoy going to Valley West! At Christmas it was heartbreaking to see the stores that are gone....I would encourage people to go visit and support the stores there! It's a great place! I plan to go more!

It was not crowded like I thought it would be right before Christmas. Everyone was friendly and respectful. JCPenney's has some really good sales on kids clothes for you parents out there!

My husband and I went to valley West Mall this last weekend. I went to color works which is still a thriving wonderful business within the mall if you want a tattoo. My husband was on the lookout for some good stores and found only about four stores to still be open in the entire mall. Super sad we were just there five years ago and every single store was open and it is really sad It went downhill so bad. The only stores that were open were closing stores. I recommend Jordan Creek if you are looking to go to a mall in Des Moines

Horrible smell in the fountain area. I almost lost my lunch. Information person and security were more than content to offer no explanation and sit in the rank smell.
