Great service, good food! We were there at lunch time, no wait to be seated. We were greeted quickly by a very friendly server and had received our order quickly. She kept the table cleared, glasses full and was courteous and upbeat. We appreciated her bringing a salsa container to take home with our leftovers. Will definitely return.

Have not been in a while. Seems as though some of the recipes have changed. Only a few tables being occupied during lunch time. Food was tasty. It did take a very long time to get our order. As well as the server checking on us. He came to us table a 3 times. Took our order, brought our food , finally brought some water. Last time to bring bill. The table behind us he visited 9 times while we were seated. Parking was plentiful. They have an outdoor patio out front. Was kind of odd. They did not have any signage out front anywhere saying El Torito's.

Yesterday was my Anniversary, I decided to try a different place. We walked up to El Torito west covina, It was happy hour. We didn't want the happy hour tacos only the drinks. I explained that to the Hotesses, so they handed me 2 menus nd told me to take a sit anywhere nd to enjoy ourselves. We decided to sit at a booth right across fron the taco station. A guy all in black came nd said u can't sit here, this is only for the restaurant. Since u are here for happy hour it's on that side of the bar only. Unfortunately that wasn't explain to us when we first came in, We were told to sit anywhere, so we did. We were a little upset, had to walk back to the bar area. Which didn't have any booths, I guess. Our waitress was on point, the food was good. The drinks were great, we were feeling better by than. I stepped into the restroom, it was awful. There was trash everywhere, even bloody papers on the floor in 1 of the bathroom stalls. There was no sit coverings nd hardly any toilet paper. If this is how there restroom looks, I can just Imagine their kitchen. We certainly will not be coming back or recommending this particular EL Torito!!!!

Food was amazing, couldn't finish it. The place was very nice and the service was great. We ordered 3 different plates and all of them where delicious. The one in the picture is the macho combo there's no way one person can finish this.

My server was awesome. She was new at the time of this review. Her name Julie. Her uniform was white shirt vs the blue shirt bartenders so my guess she is either a barback or bartender in training. But she made an awesone cucumber tequila drink for me today. I would definately come back just for her. The food I got was white sauce enchiladas. It was excellent. I would definatel) one back :)

Wow! The food was amazing! It was pretty busy, but definitely worth the wait! The main dish was amazing, the chips and salsa on point, but the fried ice cream was stupid good, an absolute treat!

Always a good time! Delicious food and great service. We got the sampler so we could take leftovers home and it was great! The flautas are to die for!!

Hector was very friendly and accommodating with my mom's special dietary needs. She ordered the Salmon without the sauce, just with butter and garlic and no rice just veggies
