My first time here for my own health. I had to wait about an hour to get called but the staff were very friendly, starting with the nurse/receptionist Victoria. She’s was very nice and worried about myself. I had PB at 158/104 and I had stroke symptoms. In less than 15mins the doctor was checking on me, & she’s the BEST doctor ever. Meghan, MD. She’s was very kind, friendly, worried, informative and very nice at all time. In less than 6 hours I had 2 CT SCANS and one EKG. The staff from Radiology were very friendly, informative and very helpful. We have to appreciate what this people do for us, they got paid of course but when someone works with their heart, that’s priceless. Thanks to Meghan Liroff, MD and the nurse Mary for the hard work and all the attentions at the Emergency Room.

Besides the nurses this was a terrible experience. No one can get us information and no doctors contacted us even though we asked mutiply times during the 2 weeks my dad was there. No home care was set up. No help, we've called and called and gotten nothing but confusion. This place is terrible. Rude front desk staff who are too busy chatting with each other to be bothered to give you your tag. The nurses in the pulmonary section and ICU are amazing. Otherwise this place is terrible. No communication with patient, patient family, or after care. I can't believe a hospital can operate this unorganized.

I called a specific department. I am not knowledgeable in medical terms. When I asked for explanations, I was apparently wasting their time. Good for them, they have enough business. I found somewhere else to get treatment. They answered my questions. Thank goodness there are choices for health care in the Metro area. Response to Henry Ford Hospital: why would I want to be connected to your care experience team? I went elsewhere.

My parents had to go to ER in ambulance after head on collision and was told they had to wait 6 hours. I only asked why 6hrs, nurse tells me if you don't like it go somewhere else. & now Been here 3hrs & no1 checked on them yet. Not even for Concussions. It was a bad head on collision. Not even a motrin for the pain. Leaving, going to different hospital. Worst service ever.

I gave birth to my baby on November 2020, to say the least the nurses that took care of me after I was settled into my room sucked. I got really sweet nurses in the beginning helping me out but after the second day the nurses were just terrible. One nurse took my baby from her dad to weigh her while she was crying my boyfriend was in the middle of changing her diaper. She weighed her and just gave her back without saying a word instead of trying to sooth her or at least give us information. The rest of the nurses completely forgot about us I would press the button for help and no one would come. Many times I had to ask for a pump to pump my milk and no one came I had to go find my nurse in the hallway mind you I had gotten a c-section and it hurt to get up and walk. I went out to look for her twice. I would only see my nurses once and never again. Definitely won’t ever be coming here again I rather give birth on the side of the road

The worse service i’ve ever seen in a hospital. I got here last night at 6:30pm, the lady that checked me in was mad and rude. I went with a bad migraine and the only thing i was asking for was a shot, is 00:30 am and my wife is her way to pick me up, some nurses are rude. They said 2 people is still ahead of me, i was sitting all the time waiting and even people that came after me got the service first. There were multiple beds and rooms and they still said they were at full capacity. Every time i asked something the answer was jo the best, there is a nurse whose name is Erika, she needs to get trained in how to treat people. Don’t go to this hospital if you are in a real emergency. They don’t care about people. Horrible, horrible horrible

In 2020 I stayed 17 days after heart surgery, mostly in the ICU. I ended up on an ecmo machine which HF is one of the only a handful of hospitals in the state that have them, the surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff I am forever grateful for, they did a great job in my opinion. The hospital is easy to get to and one of the best around, I'd recommend it to anyone especially if it's heart related.
