Starbucks

Starbucks always has wonderful coffee. I have been coming to this location for a long time. They have a new employee that is very nice and smiles all the time. She is a breath of fresh air to this location. Unfortunately, today was a disappointment. I heard this employee shout out an order so someone could make it. She said please and thank you. The manager barges in and openly screams at this employee saying she was being rude. First, you NEVER scold an employee in front of customers and staff. Second, she did NOTHING wrong. I manage a McDonalds and it is against company policy to do this. She said please and thank you. That's all that is needed. She was NOT rude. She deserves an apology as well as her manager (who is new to this location) needs to take some training classes in management!! Very disappointed.

The service here was friendlier and more personable when there was a lot of construction and business was slow. My sense is that it was not sincere or a characteristic of the store as a whole but something put on in a time of need. My last visit was very disappointing. The service was slow and not friendly. I waited 15 minutes for a pour over even though it was not an especially busy time. I had to ask about it several times and my drink was treated as an afterthought. When it came there was no acknowledgement of any unusual wait time. This really surprised me because during the months when construction was happening, their service stood out to me. It’s too bad that friendly atmosphere was temporary and utilitarian, not genuine.

As a Starbucks employee myself I am not happy with the service and treatment I got, first the lady looked like she was just not happy to be there. Then she took my order wrong, my daughter asked for a chocolate chip cookie dough cake pop which we asked for and she handed is birthday cake, and the proceeded to get loud about how we didn't know what we were talking about and I was wrong, will never go back again and will be contacting my DM and see what he has to say about this, we are not suppose to act like that towards ours guests even if I was in the wrong, maybe instead of bitching about work and how you hope the wind does blow the power out you should be actually working or if you don't like your job GO FIND A NEW ONE

This is one of the better locations in the region. Likely to see a Who's Who of wealthy residents from around the immediate area. One improvement might be to somehow encourage people to wait for their drinks without blocking the path to the restrooms, but it's a bit of a tight space compared to a lot of other locations.
