Review Pancheros Mexican Grill - West Berlin

Pancheros was good, there was a long line when we arrived, but it moved rather quickly and we were ordering our food in no time. This was the first time I was there and ordered a bowl. I know they are big our their burritos but that was not what I wanted. They make it in front of you and you tell them what you want. It was very tasty and the price was not too bad either.

I use to love eating here until last week when I was eating inside and witnessed the girl behind the counter cross contaminating the cooked and raw chicken! So there is a cutting board right next to the grill top area where she was cutting up the cooked chicken. She then steps away with cooked chicken still on the cutting board and grabs the container of raw chicken which she then placed that container onto the same cutting board where the cooked chicken is sitting! She then takes the raw chicken and loads them onto the grill area to be cooked. She takes off her raw chicken gloves throws those out then grabs the empty raw container with no gloves and puts it back. Comes right back to the cutting board and continues to finishing cutting up the cook chicken on the same spot of the cutting board the raw container just was! They need to do some training with raw and cooked food!!! I will not be returning to this place to eat unless I want food poisoning! Next time your sitting in the restaurant take a look and watch them when they cook the food and you will see.

The thing that puts this spot above many others is the fresh Tortilla oh, they press it and steam the Masa right in front of you, it has a great chewy texture and flavor, the fillings are also very tasty, if given the choice between here and chipotle I would pick Pancheros every time.

We love Pancheros and have always ordered in store. I was trying to save time,so ordered in the car on my way. Super fast as I walked in 5 min after ordering figuring I'd wait a few minutes. When I got home I realized my bowl was missing the chicken and very light on veggies, salsa, etc overall. My husband's burrito was the size of a small baby. Obviously two different people made our order. Always fresh and delicious but disappointed in the oversight tonight. Will definitely be back but only in store ordering.

Nice enough chain Mexican Grill restaurant. This one was very clean, staff was nice, food was fresh. The tortilla had a nice flavor. Price is on the high side but the portions are big. Had a carnita burrito with rice, both types of beans, cheese & pick de gallo. No guac or queso tho!

I always order bowls the food is great, however the portions vary from full a scoop to a half scoop, it depends on who’s preparing my order. All preparers should be distributing almost the same amounts when preparing orders. Mine was way off the usual. Paying over $10 for my bowl I don’t want to feel like I’m not getting my money’s worth or staff is trying to save products to cut cost. Quality is as important as quantity. When you know better, you do better.

Would put this one above Taco Bell. Best part was the tortilla..little over priced fir the quality of the food
