My wife and I ate at Applebees today for dinner. I had a good sirloin. It was early and they claimed to be out of baked potatoes. This has occurred before at Applebees. I think they just don’t bake them early. I had mashed potatoes instead, and they were good. My salad had lots of tiny cucumber chips. I would prefer they were large enough to remove easily. The service was very good.
The service was excellent. The food was very good, the sirloin was a little bit over cooked. We asked for a medium cooked steak and it was well done but it tasted very good. The Margaritas were very good and the dessert was great ( lava cake with ice cream).
This is a nice grill and bar. They have wonderful drinks, the strawberry and coconut margarita is delicious. The staff is nice and it seems safe and clean. Their entrees are very big so you better be hungry when you eat here, the appetizer s are big also.
The server was pleasant. The Bourbon Street steak was overcooked and not very good quality. Green beans were good and so were mashed potatoes.
Our server was super super nice, she interacted a lot with my little daughter. Food was great, the only reason I won't leave 5 stars is because of the restrooms (very dirty). Other than that I have nothing to complain and I'm sure that if they read this they'll take care of the restrooms cleaning.
