Review Texas Hot Restaurant - Wellsville

Loved it! The Texas Hots were delicious. I reminisced about stopping there over the years. Our 50th Houghton College Reunion got me in there this time. Thanks to Mike for coming over for a greeting!

First time visiting. I've lived in this area for almost 30 years and never stopped by. My wife had flashbacks to when she was a kid with her grandfather eating here. I thought the food was okay... I've had better. But the old-style community vibe was nice. A lot of history in this place that many would love. The service was very quick and very friendly. I would return to try something else.

Last time there (just the other day) my wife and I dined in and had a good meal. We ordered takeout for the rest of our posse so the bill was for 6 people total. Never miss an opportunity to go. They are open for dine in and takeout. There are dividers on each booth. Have missed this for awhile. Have done just takeout during covid. I personally am not a fan of takeout from anywhere. Trip home takes some of the luster out of any meal...not to mention heat.

I have been visiting this restaurant for decades. Prices have always been nice. Roughly $5 to $6 a person if ordering their famous Texas Hots. There are other grilled items on the menu. Burgers and what not. Menu ranges from $5 to $10 dollars a person. Service is always exceptional. No one i have ever met has said they have had a bad experience eating here. However I would advise eating between 2pm and 4pm in between lunch and dinner when it is less busy. Eating during dinner hours you may have to wait 20 to 30 mins for a table.

My dad is from Arkport, NY and the day after Thanksgiving he visited. We went shopping. My dad asked were we should go for lunch. I said how about Texas Hot. He had a nice time. He enjoyed a few Hots and I had a delicious toasted cheese sandwish. Thank you for your excellent customer service. Kudos for all of your hard work 🏅.

This little place was AWESOME. The food came out so fast and tasted great. Our server didn't miss a beat either. She was quick with refills (and wit) I'm adding this to my list of favorite places to eat.

I have ate at Texas Hot for 20+ years. It never changes. I love that. It’s a staple in the Wellsville community. Cash only but that is what makes this place great and prices low. Recommend to anyone who enjoys good diner food.

Food was served quick and friendly, food was good, atmosphere was unique.
