Well what can I say the skylark at Wellington is an amazing place. We have been coming every weekend for the last 8 weekends still more to come. We live in Leeds so quite a journey. All the staff are so friendly. Kaye and Martin are lovely managers they make us feel very welcome when we arrive. They all know what we drink now 😂 the food is amazing and great value for money. We will certainly be sad when we no longer have to go. Keep up the good work guys xx

Limited menu but all the standards are there.
My steak wasn't very hot but apart from that everything was good. Staff very helpful and friendly

Enjoyed it - we were greeted warmly at the door, staff had some fun with the children on the way in, which is refreshing. I had the veggie burger and it was tasty, well cooked and well presented. Partner hated his food, but he struggles with change. A bit more pricey than expected but overall I had no complaints

We were staying in the travelodge so popped over to the skylark for dinner. We were met at the door with a friendly smile and sat really quickly. They were busy but it didn't effect the service at all. Really attentive staff. Orders were taken quickly and the food arrived piping hot. Food was really good, plenty of choice on the menu.
We had food allergies in our group and they were really accommodating. Knowledgeable about the menu and didn't mind all the questions!

The food and the service was great. The seating was nice. The ceiling was hanging some wizard hats which I thought was for Halloween 🎃. The Apple crumble was a bit disappointed as the the topping was not the traditional crispy larger bread crumbs. Anyway, overall is good and worth to try.

I had the gammon steak and it was one of the best I have had for some time. Well cooked and all well presented. Good value for money particularly with the benefit of the offer. The staff were attentive and efficient.

The ambiance of the skylark was lovely. Nice atmosphere and lovely surroundings. The staff were attentive and very helpful, yet unobtrusive. All four of us had different meals, they were all top notch and the wine was fabulous! Perfect for 21 st celebration. Will definitely be back.

Amazing. Instantly greeted at the door by friendly staff. Shown to a table and served quickly. Orders taken quickly. Food arrived without any delays which was really tasty. Atmosphere was good. Price was okay. Staff continuously checked on us. A great experience.

Nice and atmospheric with friendly staff. The food is reasonably priced and good portion sizes and tasty. Very busy on the weekends though and quite noisy.
