Review Flanigan's - Wellington

The portion sizes are very generous, and the food is very good for what this restaurant is... a sports bar with a good variety of pub food from handhelds to fork and knife entrees. The staff are great and the service is too.

Went last night around 9pm. Nice person at the door who was the manager. I went to the bar and after about 15 minutes, I was never acknowledged. The couple beside me had to point me out to the male bartender. He took my drink order, brought it, then never spoke to me again. Another 15 minutes passed and I had flash a menu, then a girl came for my order. I pointed out the previous neglect and she made sure to check on me going forward. The girl, I think Val, was very friendly once she took over helping me. The guy never tried to help me or acknowledged me ever again throughout the night. It was pretty crazy. I will not be back. I shouldn’t have to work to be helped.

I have lunch at Flanagan's at least 2 times a week because the food is great and its a great value. They have a lunch menu of closed to a dozen items you can get for $6.99 plus drink with a time your out the door for less than $13. My favorites are Joes Steak House soup and a Caesar salad but I also can go for 10 wings as well and the BBQ chicken sandwich is awesome. If your solo just eat at the bar they bartenders are super nice and if you like to bring your dog they have seating outside as well.

So my friends and I are currently at this restaurant in Wellington and we wanted the “Wing it Wednesday” thinking that it would be a good deal to pay for only a pitcher of a drink and get free wings, but the pitcher was about 10-12$ for 10 wings free with NO fries. We wanted to change our order after putting it in 10minutes later and would’ve asked for the change to be sooner but our waiter was not around. So the manager Tim comes out and tells us “we cannot change your order because the food is already done”. I’ve never heard of such a thing in my life! When the food isn’t good and you want to change it or get it fixed, they take the food back and change it or fix it, but they couldn’t even take back wings that we didn’t even receive on the table yet!!? We just wanted to get something else that we would be satisfied with and now we have to sit here unhappy with our food that we wanted to take back. Also, we’ve been waiting for refills for a minute now!!! Where they at!? I’ve never experienced anything like this before. Think twice before getting a special here!

I used to like the Flanigan’s in 441 by the mall. I eat there many times and it was nice. Today it was a great disappointment. I went with a friend, I asked for a table outside and the girl at the front told me that they didn’t have enough waiters but I could take a seat outside and a server would be with us in about was 20 min, which I was fine with. I got drinks at the bar and paid for them, took them outside and waited patiently while my friend and I looked at the menu. 20 minutes later, a lady sat next to us and a waiter (middle aged blond guy) served her right away. I tried to call his attention because we were there before and waited already 20 min. He didn’t acknowledged us, after getting the other table drinks turned his back on us and left. After a few minutes he went to take the food order to the same table next to us, and although we were calling him nicely, he again turned his back on us and walked away. He never acknowledged us or apologized for the wait. He was very rude. My friend and I are both teachers, educated, and black. I don’t know if our skin color was the reason for the mistreatment but I know that I won’t go back there never again.

My son and I decided to go for lunch this passed Saturday 5/7. Walked in and hostess sat us right away, no wait which is a surprise. After about 10mins sitting at the table no waitstaff came over for drinks or anything. I walked over to the hostess stand and asked if they can get us a server. They said I will get you one right away. After another 10 mins of sitting there I decided to just get up and walk out. Usually service is pretty decent. Needless to say my 6yr old was a little disappointed. Not sure we’ll go back.

Good service drinks specials and food Sadly the fries weren't that good they were small leftover parts and sadly dry and not well seasoned my wings I asked to be wet the sauce was put to the side for some reason.
