Abu Omar Halal

I've been eating here for years on and off and I am ashamed that I have never left a review. Ever since I got a job down the road, I almost always call ahead and order to Abu before I leave. These boys have fed me amazing gyro every time for so long & I wish them the very best at their new location. If you don't like calling ahead, I'm pretty sure they also do Postmates and stuff like that.

Abu omar is a great halal food truck and im glad they have many trucks because the food is really good! Their chicken shawarma is better than any restaurant honestly and the gyro is also super delicious! I had the chicken over rice and falafel sandwich here as well and they are alright but the shawarma and gyro are the best menu items! Their fries also come with very tasty seasoning and the white sauce (garlic, i think) they give with the meals is fantastic!

We always go to Phoenicia Deli downtown to get shawarma. But it's too far. We finally decided to try here. OMG, we're so happy to find a new place to get chicken shawarma. It's so tasty, chicken cook perfectly, the sauce taste good. We love it and my son so happy when I surprise him with a bag shawarma for his lunch at school. The gentleman is very friendly and generous with the food. Definitely, we will be back and bring some more friends to join me.

This was my first time obtaining a meal from a food truck. Let's just say I was not disappointed. The customer service was great and the food smelled and tasted good. I wanted something different to eat and was glad when I found it at Abu Omar Halal food truck. Let's just say I'll be back again. I ordered the falafel Sandwich with French fries and a pickled vegetable side salad and the chicken kabob sandwich.
