Royal Dynasty Chinese

We have been dining at the Dynasty for decades, long before the move to a new building. The family is wonderful, always looking to please customers and always cleaning, cleaning and cleaning. It's our go-to Asian cuisine restaurant. We are grateful that C19 didn't do them in. I won't recommend a particular dish because they are all EXCELLENT. Be certain to try their hot and sour soup.

Love the food but their menu is not correct. The dish I ordered was spicy but it was not noted on the menu and I can't do spicy. They brought the same dish but different noodles. Need to correct the menu. Glad they are open to dine in again. If you don't want spicy, state it first. They did compensate us for the error. We will return.

Something has changed in the kitchen. Maybe we caught a fill in chief or recipe's/ingratiates have changed. The menu has been drastically shortened which is no big deal if the taste hadn't changed. Most of the dishes lacked the great flavor we had been accustomed to in the past. We had to add salt to just about everything to have any flavor at all. We had 2 beef dishes that had beef that was like chewing unsalted sponges. Lo mien noodles lacked taste also needing salt. We had 2 different rice sides, house and shrimp/chicken & pork that were tasteless. Also noticed the lack of water chestnuts in all the dishes that used to be there. Everything else was great, service, cleanliness, wait staff, but if the food lacks great taste what good is it. My wife doesn't want to go back, doesn't want to spend 150 bucks for 4 people and not like the food. People at the next table weren't happy either and mentioned the lack of taste, they were loyal customers too. Royal Dynasty, get your act together in the kitchen. We love you. Last Year Posting Sat down with some of the family last evening, table for 5. Patrick was our server and host. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. We had many dishes and not a one was something we didn't enjoy. Every thing is spotless including the rest rooms. Patrick and staff were very attentive and accommodating. Couldn't be happier with our experience.
