I enjoyed eating at this restaurant. I ordered the vegetarian burrito and it was large and came with a side of cheese sauce. I was a bit surprised that the cheese didn’t come on it but that was no biggie. The chips were good as was the salsa and we also got a bean dip which was a pleasant surprise. The staff in the restaurant were very nice and gave great customer service. We enjoyed eating at this restaurant
I've always loved eating at Chapala in Weaverville. Absolutely love the owner and his family team that works together. I'm giving it a 4 star rating for food and atmosphere only because when you ask for a mild salsa you get like heated red sauce, like that which you pour over some of the dishes on their menu. The atmosphere is always good but I give it a 4 due to it being so warm in the dining area. A lot of people like it warmer and a lot of people like it cooler. I for one do not like to be freezing cold in a restaurant, however, it is not enjoyable when it's too warm and humid. Just my opinion! The food is always delicious!!
I had huevos con chorizo, my wife had shrimp tacos. The chorizo is authentic and very tasty. Wife loved the tacos. Generous portions, friendly service. We’ll be back frequently.
Food was delicious, the Flan was sooo good, and Daiseys smile made everything taste better.the atmosphere was a warm feeling, very nice people, if you go somewhere else you loose.

This Chapala has been my go-to Mexican joint for years now! It only continues to get better and better. Absolute best Mexican food you can find anywhere. PERIOD. Come support an awesome family business and get STUFFED!
The food isn’t my favorite, honestly, but my server was amazing! He was a young man and even though I could tell he was tired he was friendly, personable, respectful and attentive. He had a really good attitude and I appreciate that. I think this was his first job but with his skills he’ll go far in whatever direction he wants to go. I ate in the restaurant and then ordered some food to go for my daughter and he put the order in at just the right time so that the food stayed as hot as possible. And I ordered a horchata to go as well and he gave it to me without ice so it wouldn’t be all watered down when I got it home to her. I didn’t even have to ask! That alone is reason enough to go back.
Salsa was very good and the nachos were great. First time here and would definitely come back.
