Pulidos Mexican Restaurant

We popped in for a quick bite before our Painting With a Twist reservation next door. The food came out so fast they didn't have time to bring the chips and queso appetizer before the meal. The waiter was very attentive, check on us at least 4 times. Hubby actually ate the rice and beans because they were so flavorful, which he usually never does. Guacamole was excellent, very fresh, not a fancy recipe. Really liked the beef taco filling and beef enchiladas. The chili con carne sauce is loaded with meat. Portion size is good; you will not leave hungry.

This Place is really Good. It is a peaceful more layed back place. There is enough natural lighting shining in through the windows making for an awesome much needed relaxed Lunch break in the middle of a busy day. The staff are kind, helpful and polite. The beef tips on the Lunch menu are particularly good. I was told the enchiladas are under $6 for lunch tomorrow (Tuesday) so I may return for that as well.

This is the best place to eat when in Weatherford its truly amazing service, and environment. I've been going for years now. And I never get tire of the food but I love the shrimp and fish soup it might just be a simple soup but at Pulido's is and truly is the only place that I can find it the same way I had it when I first had it as a child I always go back for more. Ordered a Togo order , Lady said all my stuff was in bag which consisted of 3 kids meals and two adult meals . Which I had to remind cashier my meal should have tortillas included in meal . She had forgotten to put them in bags .Sadly when we got home one of my children’s meal was not in bags . When I called the man said they would refund my card that I paid with for missing meal but then the wife said no. I’m already home not really wanting to drive back into town for one kids meal . The lady was very rude compared to husband. Her excuse the cashier did her best to chk order and it’s not their fault . I understand forgetting chips tortillas but an entire meal that doesn’t seem like someone checked my order .

The service was horrible, the restaurant was dirty, my "enchiladas" were just 3 corn tortillas stacked on top of each other with cheese underneath, the cashier was incompetent, he rang up my order wrong 2 times. Entrees did not have the right ingredients. The steak was very good, however. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I have been eating there since I was a child. It has been steadily going downhill for the past few years, and I will not be going there again until the current owners are replaced.
