Best mocha I have ever had. I really enjoy relaxing outside by the river or sitting inside on the comfy couch. The food is fresh and yummy. I look for opportunities to stop by every chance I get. You deserve to try coffee this good.
The Ultimate. It felt like a punch in the gut when I heard the barista ask my wife for $6, for a cup of coffee that she had just ordered. That being said, that Ultimate Blended Mocha was probably the best iced coffee Ive ever tasted. I dont even like coffee, dont drink the stuff, but this was something magical. It will certainly be part of any visit to Waynesville we make in the future. Delicious
Worth the drive. I live in Asheville, but frequently, as I can, drive to Panacea for coffee or lunch, will drive to Waynesville for Panacea and then over the Blue Ridge to fish the Davidson. Try the " Red Head" of Buddha's Belly. Staff is always friendly, always a nice place to make a stop.
LOVE this place!. We couldn't decide if we wanted to go to Smoky Mountain Roasters or here. We chose Smoky Mountain Roasters but once we got there, we didn't go in. We thought Nah, let's try that other one. . Soooooooooooo glad they had bad curb appeal! Once we walked inside Panacea, we were blown away! This is EXACTLY what we had in mind for the "perfect" coffee house experience. It has a very cozy feel to it, but it is HUGE inside. From the outside it looks like it would be small. The coffee is amazing also. I had the Ultimate Mocha. Delicious! Can't wait to come back here on my next visit to the mountains! Nice outdoor area in the back by a creek for warmer weather days.
Awesome Coffee/Depressed Barista's. The Coffee is absolutely amazing. Very spacious floor with awesome tables. Perfect for laptops, studying, or just chattin it up. HOWEVER, I think the entire staff had either swallowed a bunch of "downers" or didn't sleep the night before. Just looking at them made me sad which is not what are you supposed to feel after you drink coffee! I'd visit again, but I definitely won't tip and won't expect a smile from anyone.

Variety of Coffee!. If you are traveling in North Carolina, Panacea Coffee House Café Roastery in Waynesville, NC is definitely a place to stop by and buy coffee or lunch. I really appreciate the service of this coffee House Cafe because the service made me feel at ease. The chicken sandwich I got was not only delicious but also well prepared. It tasted like homemade chicken and smelled fantastic. In my visit to North Carolina, I came across this shop unexpectedly. I realized that North Carolina has a rich history but without its shops like Panacea it would lose its spice of tourism. They have a variety of sandwiches, meals and specialty drinks. Above all, I like the way employees in this place put on new gloves for each customer. That saves a lot of infectious diseases. On top of that, what I found wonderful about this place is the art. The artistic decorations on the wall revealed the background history of NC and Appalachia for tourists. I am definitely sure that you will be satisfied with the service, information and comfort you get in Panacea. I encourage you to go try it yourself.
Simply said it is everything I could ever want in a coffeehouse. Great coffee. Friendly staff. Good music. Only problem is they are not open on Sunday.
I do visit when in town. I have visited Panacea numerous times when I visit Waynesville. The food is good, prices a bit high in comparison with other places of the same caliber. Coffee and other drinks are close to being consistent. No always hot which is my biggest complaint at most coffee houses.
Extraordinary. Entering the building, was such a explosive experience. The look of the building was breath taking. The style seemed like what you would see in more traditional or old cafes but still had a vibrant new feel to it that really resonated with my companions and me. I ordered a cup of tea, better yet a cup of peace or just straight liquid relaxation in a cup. It really relaxed me which was what I needed because of all the uncertainty of the day. I really appreciate the experience and service. Really glad we decided to go there.
So Wonderful!. Oh, my goodness, how I enjoyed this coffee house! It has the perfect coffee house atmosphere, more coffee bean flavors than your can every try, and the food was so good. The menu was on a chalk board, my favorite menu. My soup and sandwich were so good, I went back the next day and ordered the same thing!
The deck! I lost the sense of time while sitting on the deck with my lunch and watching birds fly across the creek that ripples past.

We live about 30 minutes away, and I found this place on Google Maps and wanted to give it a try! We have been here a couple of times so my photos are from different times. The first time we got bagels and some drinks, the second time we got something off of their sandwich menu. The bagels were great. I got a mango iced tea which came unsweetened but they gave me simple syrup to sweeten it up. The second time I got the wakey wakey sandwich which was delicious. My boyfriend and I really loved the atmosphere of the whole place. It was very cozy and welcoming. We saw the coffee bean roaster in action during our second visit, and watched it for a little bit. The owner saw us watching it and came over to explain the process to us, which was very nice. I will definitely be taking friends and family who visit here!
The largest Coffee shop I’ve ever seen. Plenty of seating, absolute gorgeous outdoor area by the stream😍Dog friendly. Huge selection and loads of character. A must see if you’re in the area!
The outdoor patio was heavenly, situated on the water, dog friendly. The smoke trout lox on everything bagel was delicious. Normally, I don’t like tomatoes at restaurants; but this one was huge and had a lot of flavor. I would definitely come back when I’m in the area.
The outdoor seating is a great bonus to visiting this local shop. The coffee is good but the food was just alright. The location is wonderful and it’s a great spot to be at. Good for relaxing or meeting with others

The coffee was good. It's a roastery with beautiful interiors. The size of the coffee and the price felt agreeable. You also get sodas and lemonades. You can comfortably customize your coffee here. You can buy coffee by the pound. You will get all the help and knowledge in choosing your coffee as per your taste. People were really kind.
Was in the area, and was looking for a place to stop and get some remote work done, and found this place! I was very pleased with the nice interior, with fast wifi, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee I went with was the cold brew, and it was great (3 cups great!) I didn't have any of the food, but smelled awesome! I look forward to dropping back in when I'm back in the area!
