I haven't tried much of their food except the pork Buns and they're delicious! Definitely would love to come back to try the other food on the menu.

I hate to say it but the food was pretty bland. I'm newish to Waynesboro and was looking for another non-American food favorite in town. I really wanted to like it but we tried several items- fried rice, drunken noodles, yellow curry and some apps and everything seemed to have little seasoning or spice. Owner seemed really nice but the food was just not very flavorful. Unfortunate 😔

Only had the spring rolls, but they were good. The proprietor was extremely nice and I will go back.
I've been back a few times since that review and it's always been great. The owner is super nice and makes excellent food. I wanted something with a little spice today and went with the Szechuan Beef. It was really good and had a nice amount of spice, I told her to make it 3 out of 5 on spice level and it was right on.

Last night me and my husband decided to order a take out from Jade Cottage Cafe. It was our first and last time ordering food from there. We ordered General Tso Chicken and Vegetable dumplings. First of all, bill was too high. Just two items came out $26. The second, food was very dry and overcooked ( OR it wasn't fresh, probably reheated). Dumplings supposed to have some vegetables, but I honestly don't know what was it. I am all about supporting local business, but I will not be surprised if this location will go out of business. I am actually surprised how it still functions. Sorry, but we were very disappointed. I would not recommend their food to anyone.

This place is wonderful!!! The food is delicious, lots to choose from, the service is great, family friendly, and it is cozy. Now my son has found his new favorite place. He is willing to try everything!

I don't know about you, but I love supporting good people. Jade is a lovely and kind soul who puts love into everything she cooks to order. Her tom yum soup is soul food to me and I think I could eat her pad thai every day and not tire of it. I love that she's always sourcing fresh, seasonal ingredients to garnish her dishes. Jade's Cafe has been around for nearly 20 years now and it blows my mind when I hear people say they've never tried it.

Ordered 4 different entrees, all were bland. Only good thing was seaweed salad, only because it's packaged and it wasn't even fresh. Everything had all of the potential to be amazing but it wasn't prepared that way. I have no problem at all spending a hundred dollars on good food but for that price and to not have a single dish be decent is very disappointing.

It was just me and my wife eating in, 2 different take out orders in the time we were there, on a cold Saturday afternoon. I think we met Jade, she took our order, made our food, and made nice small talk as my wife looked at the items for sale in the window. The food was delicious. Made with love. Recipes all probably by memory from decades of careful preparation. Would definitely recommend and go back.
