Food was excellent, our waitress was very helpful and informative when we were unsure what to order. My food arrived at the table in a hot stone bowl and as she mixed the dish together she called out each ingredient in the bowl. Their house made spicy sauce was excellent and served on the side which was great so I could play with the level of spice I wanted.

Came here after waiting 15 minutes for service and waters then walking out of The Local Kitchen and Drinks.
We had drinks and appetizers before we even saw a server at the other restaurant.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was fantastic and came out quickly.
Highly reccomend.

The food was rather good, the restaurant was nice and pretty large, and the waitress we had was very nice and quick to help. We were in town for a short while, but I'm glad we stopped here. The food was really good, and some of the menu items I hadn't seen on any other sushi or Japanese food menu, which was great.

What a nice restaurant, the food was well prepared and the ingredients very fresh. The service was quite good as well. There were some different spins on some old classics that I really enjoyed trying as well. I recommend Takara, I will definitely go back.

I love Takara. I've been going since they opened. My favorite dish is the young yellowtail. The chefs are great. Also the potato pancakes under the tuna with sauce on it is killer. Huge saki selection. Modern, very chic decor. Great bar to hang out at. And plenty of options for the non-sushi or seafood eater. I recommend the bibimbap or katsu.

This place is awesome whether dine in or take out. The menu has a great selection and I haven had a bad meal ever. Staff is very helpful and customer oriented. Highly recommend

Takara has gone downhill, specifically the quality of the sushi in my opinion. Some of the pieces of nigiri were just too tough and chewy for us and completely unappetizing. Granted it was a takeout order which incorporated a bit of travel time from preparation, but the tempura rolls we ordered were cold and chewy as well. We've had much better experience at Oga's in Natick, but opted to give Takara another shot as Oga's was closed. Won't make that mistake again.
