My husband and I ate here last month and we were very amazed to find this caliber of food locally. We had just been to Boston's North end 2 weeks prior and have to say that Amici's blew the north end restaurant out of the water! The chicken saltimbocca was exquisite, a perfect blend of tastes. Homemade bread, croutons, and caesar salad house dressing -perfect. Loved the brie and fruit appetizer. We are so anxious to go back to try more. The food is definitely homemade (I usually have a very sensitive stomach but could eat everything here without an issue), crafted with authentic recipes, but also with much care/ attention/love.
Not only is the cuisine out of this world, but the ambiance, the hostesses and waitstaff are dedicated to making your dining experience the best it can be! Waterville's finest dining! From the authentic Caesar salad, to the bread and seasoned dipping oil, to the fettuccine a la Maria, my meal could not have been any better!
My Wife and I have gone to Amici's many times and the food is always excellent. You always get excellent service, no matter who your server is. The people always greet you with a smile and when you talk with them it feels like you are talking with your friends, not staff. Since we started going there we have never stepped foot in any other Italian Restaurant since. If you haven't been there yet, you really need to give it a chance! Thank you to the good people at Amici's for making our time there a great experience!

The food was delicious. The dessert was very very good. The waitress Shannon was really friendly and actually the best waitress I've had in a very long time! I will definitely go back!
Great food and great people! Always appreciate the friendly people and the great Italian fare. A must visit when in Downtown Waterville.
I can't speak for all the menu items but I do like "The Roberto" ( Veal & Eggplant dish) is the best.
Service is excellent. The complete staff in the front of the house is outstanding.
Wine list is OK and priced right.
I got a 1/2 tray of Eggplant Parm. for a family dinner, and a quart of "gravy" EXCELLENT
Excellent Value, it is my new best place to go for dinner.
This is a wonderful eatery fabulous wait staff fabulous food and fabulous atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Very classy with low prices and lots of food has to be my favorite restaurant now.
Lovely atmosphere, excellent food - best veal parmigiana I've ever had, and above all impeccable service. We wanted for nothing and left with an incredible experience. Definitely a must for your culinary palate if in central Maine!

My husband and I went to Amici's for the first time. The food was excellent, big portions; the staff was friendly and very efficient and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We are looking forward to going back and trying other items on the menu. We certainly will recommend Amici's.

When I was there I felt like family. Great staff and atmosphere. Chef and staff work hard and are eager to please.

This establishment was recommended to me by a co-worker. It was everything plus more than I expected. Although I had my meal to go. I didn't feel like I went through a fast food drive thru. The atmosphere in my opinion was laid back and if you are on a date quite romantic. Easy lighting, hushed background, light music. (you can definitely play footsies under the table). Staff dressed in evening attire was really impressive.
We made Google reservations here and got a quick call from staff who somehow just knew we were planning on going to a show at the Opera House and suggested an arrival a few minutes earlier. We agreed and they kept our plans in mind through the entire service. Quick, efficient, great food, and a timely arrival at the show, just can’t say enough good things about Amici’s!!!
Fantastic dinner! Best service ever!
Good Italian food and environment but desperately needs a larger space. Difficult to have a romantic dinner when I could reach over and take a bite from another table's plate. Servers are practically stepping on you as they pass.
Wonderful food, drinks, environment and service. Everyone was very attentive, finished plates were removed almost immediately and despite being busy the food came out very quickly. My husband and I will definitely be visiting again soon.

Our family highly recommends going here! We had a family reunion and about 25 of us decided we wanted to go out together later in the evening. Although it was last minute they were able to accommodate us. The food was amazing! The service was fabulous and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this establishment! This would be a perfect place to take your loved one, a friend or an important client. First-class professional service with a smile! Everyone got different dinners and everyone loved their meal and dessert!
