I’m a bit surprised that the reviews for Joyful Garden are only a 4.1. Try the DEEP FRIED TWIN LOBSTER. Mild or spicy. It’s very good. I feel like people don’t know it’s offered on the menu because I can only find it written on the in-house menu when you visit in person (not online menu). The tofu plates I get a lot and are also amazing. My family and I both love this place. The dim sum is so fun and delicious, but the regular dinner menu is amazing too. The service is great and very attentive.

An excellent experience. For an appetizer I had the spring rolls and the vegetarian duck, which were both cooked very well with the perfect balance of vegetables and seasoning. The tofu in the vegetarian duck was very good although perhaps misleading because it has zero taste of duck, so be sure to keep that in mind. For dinner I tried the bean curd (tofu) in chili sauce and the Buddhist delight pan fried noodles, and both were excellent. Silken tofu is used in the tofu in chili sauce which I thought was interesting, and the ma/la is perfectly balanced. They also add some vegetables with some added green pepper and peas. The Buddhist delight pan fried noodles were also very good, the noodles are a little thinner than what most other restaurants do but still delicious. Comes with properly cooked and well seasoned vegetables like bok choy and carrots, as well as an assortment of mushrooms and firm tofu. Highly recommend. One thing they keep in mind is they do have desserts but they don't list it on their regular menu, so be sure to ask for the dessert menu if you want it.

Passable food. Subpar and inconsistent service. Dim sum is decent, since there isn’t anything close by with such good parking in the metro west. Dinner can be inconsistent in the quality of the food as well. Definitely not my go to, but will do the job when I need my fix.

Highly scrumptious and awesome restaurant. The busy and bustling environment of constant food being offered to you for Dimsum is one that needs to be experienced. A huge variety of dishes and yummy treats are good for anyone wanting to have real Chinese food and I would highly recommend this place.

Stand alone Chinese restaurant outside of Boston China town. Their dim sum dishes were very good quite authentic considering being on another side of the pacific from the birth place of dim sum. My favorite are shumai, chicken feet, and turnip cake. The restaurant is pretty large with plenty of seating, staff are friendly and helpful. They still push dim sum trollies around for you to choose the dishes, pretty cool.

Delicious dim sum and desserts. Affordable prices. Nice ambiance. Everything was piping hot and tasted really fresh. The staff and servers were attentive and brought the dim sum dishes around often. It reminded me of going to dim sum restaurants in Malaysia. The food was great. Definitely try the sesame balls and egg tarts for dessert!

Hidden gem. The food is all the things you love about Chinese food and missing all the things you don’t like. Food was fresh, not oily, not over sauced, not too salty, and served high quality meats and seafood. Great spot for large groups and has giant TVs on one wall so you can still watch the game from your table. We forgot to take a picture before we started eating. The supreme seafood in XO sauce that our waitress recommended was delish and served on a unique and tasty deep fried mashed potato ring (sounds odd describing it but it was good and had nice presentation). Chicken and asparagus was also delicious.
