Sunset Landing

We had a group of 15 for dinner last night and everyone had a great time. The setting is great and the sunset was, as hoped, spectacular. The server was friendly and attentive. As for dinner, very good. Menu was a bit limited but had a variety that satisfied all. Ribs, superb. Mac & cheese, fabulous. Baked beans and cole slaw, above average. Shrimp cocktail and fried pickles were also good. Pete, the pit master, knows barbecue. Other offerings non barbecue are lobster rolls, salads, chicken, burgers and dogs. The only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 was they could have had another server on the floor and they were a little under stocked with a couple of beer choices the menu offered. Highly recommend a visit when the weather is good as it is an outdoor venue. Forgot to mention the live music was good and wasn’t too loud as to drown out conversation. There are fire pits, giant Jenga and corn hole areas for those who want a bit more fun.
