Always the 'go to place' for drinks w/girlfriends or a cheat meal w/the family & friends... We tend to request Naomy as our server, when we go in & we've always had wonderful service. However, the few times she wasn't working when we went in & other staff served us, we had just as exceptional of service. Absolutely hooked on their fries & cheese curds! Yet would recommend most of their dishes & pizza....Also, only place in town where they get my drink right & are generous w/the lemons, when I request extra ones. All in all, great staff, great location, great bar food
Ps. Very glad to be able to say the owners are great people, that treat their staff w/respect. As my daughter has enjoyed her employment at this establishment. If you're going to spend your hard earned money, this place is a good place to leave some of it;)
Marquart's Landing is the best restaurant in the world.
All the food on the menu is awesome, the beverages are perfect, the beer is ice cold and the selection is great.
The staff and owner are attentive and very friendly.
Oh, did I say the prices are reasonable😊
Marquart's Landing is an excellent place with an upbeat atmosphere that I always bring my out of town friends to. The scenic view sets the Landing, as well as all of the Front Street restaurants, apart.
I recognize that there are 1 star reviews that pop up on this page, but what you have to realize is no matter where you go you, it is not always going to be a perfect night and you might not always get along with a staff member. Please take that into account when reading reviews and when visiting a restaurant.
This is a sit-down restaurant to enjoy time with family and friends, not a place to scurry out of, and not a fast food stop-you cannot always expect to have your food in 20 minutes. Different foods also take different amounts of times. If you want super quick get-and-go food, I would suggest a fast-food stop like Sonic.
I highly recommend visiting this wonderful establishment that Rick Marquart and his family have put so much of their heart and hard work into. You don't always find restaurants where a family-including a young daughter-spend a considerable amount of their time directly working on site to make it a great experience for all. They are a genuine, hard working family aiming to give the people of Washington and its visitors a fun and memorable experience.
P.S. Try the Frisco Melt. You won't regret it.
I had an excellent experience while dining at the Landing on Fathers Day with my Family! The food was Outstanding, and the waitress was very polite and attentive... catering to our needs. And yes, the brewski was COLD and went well with my meal! I would definitely recommend The Landing to all who come to Washington and are looking for a great place to eat.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service.
We took the train up from Kirkwood to have dinner in Washington. We decided to give them a try. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed dinner including the French Dip, Steak Sandwich, Nachos and fried cheddar bites.
Had a great time here!! Good music, good beer, good atmosphere! Plus the owner is pretty cool!
My grndaughter and i had lunch here it was very good and the waitress we had was great my hubby fixes thier stuff once in awhile great place thanks for making a 5 year olds train trip in may even better
The food was great, the service was great, I eat there when I am in Washington. I really like the historic brick building the tavern is in.
My wife and I ate here on a Monday afternoon. Service and food were both good.
Loved the fries especially. The outdoor seating area was beautiful with a nice view of the river. Would definitely come back!
The Landing is a great spot to hang out! Great food, great customer service. Today I had the best Bloody Mary I have ever had in my life, made by the lovely bartender Mackenzie. She is just one of the many awesome staff members. The Landing makes you feel welcomed and warm. Speaking of warm, the food is BOMB. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW MUCH I LOVE THE WINGS THE NACHOS THE PEOPLE!! But back to the food, next level! The Reuben could make me cry 😭. Thank you for such a fine establishment.
They have a great menu. We went for lunch. I had the Ribeye steak sandwich with sweet potato puffs. My friend had the French onion soup and a salad. It was delicious.
We enjoyed the atmosphere and the wait staff was on point, Jordan took great care of us and answered all our questions.
Loud, crowded but I guess that's good for business. My bourbon glazed salmon was good, and so was the jalapeno roasted corn. The garlic mashed potatoes tasted as if they were made from a box of imitation potato flakes (much to be desired).
Beautiful patio with a great view of the river. Drinks were good and strong. Menu was too big. Food was delicious, however, the portions were surprisingly small. Smoked brisket was good but I ate the sandwich in 4 or 5 bites and the last bite was all bread.
We ordered a steak sandwich and a brisket sandwich both with french fries. Each sandwich was delicious and we would order it again. The pub atmosphere was great! Marquart's has some of the nicest servers around. They had the Cards game playing on the television. Our first time there and we enjoyed it.
