Wonderful. Had sausage and cheese omelet, and a half-order of chocolate-chip waffle covered with blueberries and real maple syrup… all served by a smiling friendly waitress. The breakfast was very good - nice sized portions, excellent taste. Thankfully, this restaurant is very conveniently located just across the street to the south from "Little John" hospital [aka Mercy], so when visiting is just a short walk. However, even if it was a longer drive, this is a durn good place to partake of some good tasting vittles.

Was in town and had a local recommend this place to me. The food was excellent, and the service was attentive but not overbearing. Prices are also super reasonable for the amount of food that you get. It was a great experience, and I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in town again.
Server was friendly and helpful. Was able to accommodate my diet restrictions. The biscuits are huge! My garden skillet was so good. Husband's biscuits and gravy was good. Gravy was flavorful.
This place was recommended to me by a friend and I think it deserves some good attention. The staff is extremely friendly and their chocolate pancakes are the best I've ever had. Very nice little diner and I would love to recommend to everyone around the area!
Oh my goodness!!! Service so fast it is hard to believe combined with a breakfast so big and delicious that I am leaving full, and happy. Katie was fast, friendly, and very professional. She made a great visit even better. My wife and my Mother in law were all just as happy as I was.
The food here is fresh made, I especially love the fried chicken dinner and for breakfast the pancakes are yummy. The waitresses are very nice and keep your drinks filled up. I love their food!
Exceptionally friendly service. I don't think we could great their service high enough. We encountered a longer than normal wait time but I heard the wait staff commenting on the unusualness of the number of customers. The food quality was average to slightly above average. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast and found my chicken fried steak overcooked but the eggs were perfect. I particularly like my hash browns cooked with butter and these were somewhat dried to me but I realize some people like dryer hash browns. All in all my wife's and I breakfast Bill came to about $40 plus tip. So the five stars are focused on the friendliness of their service and that the food was a little above average.
Considering the covid 19 situation I would be remiss to not comment that no one in the restaurant wore masks or gloves. They do offer takeout though to accommodate people who do not want to eat in the restaurant.
ROTHSCHILDS IS AMAZING!!THE FOOD IS AMAZING AND THE SERVICE IS BEYOND COMPARE!!! THE TURN AROUND ON EMPLOYEES IS KEY. YOU KNOW A PLACE IS WORTH GOING TO WHEN THE EMPLOYEES WORK THERE FOR FOR AN AVERAGE OF 10+ YEARS. OWNERS ARE THE BEST PEOPLE AS WELL!!
Sunday fried chicken plate, stuffing, green beans, Texas toast, $8.99. Fantastic! Next time I will ask to hold the green beans to get two sides of stuffing. The chicken was brined and fried to perfection!
