Bacon, Bourbon & Beer

Good food, great list of whiskeys. I feel like they used to have more options for bacon and the Mac and cheese used to be better. Our waiter was great, super friendly, but service at this place is always pretty slow. I don't think it's the waiter/waitresses fault necessarily. But definitely recommend.

The menu focuses on pork-inspired dishes and they gave a lot of craft bourbon cocktails to choose from. The Brussel Sprouts were so yummy, we got them as an appetizer, but you can get them as a side dish too. The rest of the food was good, though the pork belly tacos were crazy greasy. The service was great!

We never even got to sit down. We stood in line waiting for at least 15 minutes. No acknowledgement, nothing. The couple in front of us had the same experience. A simple “hey guys, we’ll be with you soon” goes a long way, but the 4 guys working just kept looking over and then looking away and continuing what they were doing. If they were hoping for the ignore them and they’ll leave, it worked. My husband and I as well as the couple in front of us walked out. First impressions are important and a terrible one was made tonight.

Unfortunately unhappy with our server Nick R. After arriving on a slow night, he sat us and walked away. After 15 min waiting for him to come back, I began trying to flag him down. He would make eye contact and walk away. 20 min go by and I'm ready to leave. He finally passes us and I ask him to take our order. He responded "oh, I forgot that you were my table". FINALLY placed our order. I proceed to order a $12 glass of burdon. Even though its advertised with a large square cube. Mine came out with crushed ice used for soda. Other tables had the large cube. Just principle to me. The food was good though. So that made that made up the second star. Probably won't come back for a while.
