Absolutely delicious.. Our special "Ruby Trout "with maple pecan glaze was really the best piece of fish I have had in the whole Washington area in a long tiime.The sides were great also. Our waitress, Gena, was a delightful young lady and really knew what she was doing, answered our questions and just made our dining experience all the better. Perfect night out.
We have been pleasantly surprised by Solomons this year! The food is fresh and well prepared. The restaurant is clean and pleasantly decorated, and the service is excellent! Definitely stop here for a great meal!
Best seafood in town. I have a disabled Daughter that doesn't like going to many places, but she loves the way she gets treated at Solomons. The staff is the greatest. Always complying to her every need. The food is excellent in whatever is chosen. We will be back again and again!!!
Very nice. Ate there after a trip up to pittsburgh, was delicious. Service was great, the crab cake was yummy. Also the burgers were large, and the veggies on them made them more like a fresh salad with a huge succulent burger, (which i could tell was high grade beef). wide variety of domestic and imported draft beer. will be taking all of my family again very soon. yumm
Great Food, Friendly Attentive Staff!. I was surprised by the review on here because my friends and I were there the day before and I didn't feel like I saw any of the issues that 'Sandman' saw or experienced.
What a good time we had at Solomon's! My husband and some of our friends (10 of us all together) were here and had an exceptional time! I called to ask some questions about large parties and the woman I spoke to was wonderfully accommodating! I learned about the evening and weekend specials - one of the reasons that we picked our day.
Wednesday was Burgers and Beers special - my husband LOVED it, I got the grilled seafood salad and it was great! We all had great food and a great time! Great Food!!! We will definitely be back!
Don't bother trying to have luncheons there on Sundays...apparently not enough staffing per the owner.
Fabulous!. Solomon Seafood is wonderful. Their seafood bisque is fantastic and so is their lobster pot! The prices are also very reasonable. If you are ever near, you should definitely try it!
Erratic service. During one visit, our hostess was clearly in a bad mood. I understand that we all have off-days, but she was so cranky that we all felt uncomfortable. Our server was slow as well, but as usual, the food was good.
I have tried both the clam chowder and seafood bisque here. Both are great but I prefer the bisque. The "lobster pot" is good but I don't like how they call langostino meat lobster. The fried fish sandwich is fantastic (and cheap).
The surf and turf was amazing(don't be afraid to spend money remember you get what you pay for!), but also one of the best fish sandwiches around!
Solomon Seafood. This is one of the best restaraunts in Washington, PA. I am not even a big fan of seafood but if I must have a fish sandwich during lent this is the only place I go now. Their pasta is delicious as well and their fried chicken is VERY good....
Best seafood in the greater Pittsburgh area. Black and blues are amazing. Service is second to none. Mike and George have a great thing goin at this restaurant.

Went there for the first time on Saturday August 8th and the meal and service were excellent! Blackened Talapia done just right. Great experience, will return!
Got carry out shrimp dinner and the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was amazing! Probably best quality I’ve had in a long time, and just the right amount of spice! Hush puppies were great, husband loved the shrimp but the main excitement for us was the delicious coleslaw!! Literally tastes so good and is the sweet kind. Plus on the phone they were overly friendly! We will be going back for sure!!
Pretty alright food. I didn't have any problems with mine. The folks I was with didn't love theirs but I feel like seafood is sometimes like that. It's not always as standard as some other types of food. It can vary wildly from place to place.

Good Friday dinners are a tradition in my family. We visited Solomon's on what is one of the busiest seafood days of the year and we were fortunate to get a table. Everything was wonderful. I had the shrimp & crab romesco. It was a generous portion of a very flavorful dish.
This was the first time we ate here. The food was good, the service was great, our server Raven was wonderful! All employees worked well together and made sure we were well taken care of. 💝
We go all over Washington county for fish and after yesterday they get my vote for the #1 fish sandwich. Normally the coleslaw is great as well but this time it was dry. I should have told them scoop from the bottom but oh well. Get there by 5 during lent if you want to dine in unless you don't mind a long wait.
My wife 3 kids and myself all enjoyed our dinners excellent service staff and food we will definitely be back! If your looking for a nice quality meal this is the spot. Thank you for everything.
