Great food! In from out of town, got the catfish poboy with sweet potato fries. Highly recommend. Service was solid as well
We enjoyed a nice lunch here today, the restaurant is located on a quaint street just a short walk from the waterfront. There was just a short wait to be seated, and our server Cody came to our table quickly after we were seated. She told us the Daily Specials and answered any and all menu questions
Nice restaurant/bar with a decent selection of food and drinks. Our waiter was attentive and polite, but it was hard to hear him because the music was a little loud. The food and service was good.
Bottom line up front choose Grub Brothers for the best meal value you will find in Original Washington, NC. From the home-made pimento cheese and fresh crackers to the Angus beef burgers to the chicken tenders other restaurants would pass off as as 3 seperate meals, the food was delicious. Here's
Food was good overall, but parts were just ok. For example, my burger was excellent, but the bun was cold and chewy. 30 seconds on the grill and it would have been great.
Seems to be a local watering hole. Decor is weak. If I am back in the area I might go back. Fun menu with a lot of different, ta
I had the best catfish I'd ever eaten here, Nice bar & restaurant located in the heart of downtown Washington, NC. I sat at the bar so the service was good, the people were nice, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Good food plus a touch of Southern charm. I'll be back here again.
Great place to eat, right next to the theater. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Had the Philly Cheesesteak, the Cajun Pasta, and the Club. All of them were really good. The best thing was the hash brown casserole! That was stellar.
My friend and I were here in the area for an event and wanted to try something local. She got the catfish poboy with sweet potato fries and said it was incredible. I got the French dip sandwich. It was awesome. The okra fritters are pretty good as well! Super tasty!!
The burgers here are great but the chicken salad club is the one for me. Really good chicken salad on toasted bread with fried green tomatoes and crispy bacon, perfect. Also make sure to get a side a gravy with your fries, you won't regret it. The okra and tomato stew is delicious as well. This is a
Great brunch on Sunday! Had the pork eggs Benedict and it is delicious. Salty and sweet. They have a great selection of beers at the bar, three TV's, and a very attentive wait staff. They were very quick to get my food too.
I used to work at Grub Brothers, and it is a wonderful place. They treat the employees like family, and when I was working there, we tried to treat the customers the same way, like family. Everyone was really nice and hard workers. The managers and owners are wonderful people. If you want good servi
One of the few places that will cook a burger to order. Perfectly med rare and delicious. The staff is great. Nice menu with large selection, we always have a hard time deciding what to order because it all looks so good.
The menu is different and offering diversity. The staff are very nice. Relatively large restaurant and a good chance you won't wait. The "Gruben" had very little dressing dressing. I feel like it was an off night. Very good quality marble rye and pastrami. I enjoyed the fried jalapenos and thei
Listen, I don't know how to put into words how much I loved Grub Brothers. The burgers were juicier than my Aunt Claire's gossip, and the fries were crispier than my Grandma's homemade apple pie. The staff was as friendly as my dog after he's eaten a whole bag of treats. And don't even get me starte
Grub Brother was great. Carlos , our waiter was excellent! He gave us great suggestions. The strawberry Margarita was excellent as well. We had the BBQ and Ribs. They were very tasty and tender. Tasted like they had been slow roasted all evening! Fell off of the bone! We will recommend to everyone!
Ordered For Takeout. Food Was Great. Service Was Timely. Friendly Staff And Atmosphere. Possum In The Trash Is a Must Try, As a New Local From New England. Beautiful Local Art Inside To Admire While We Waited. (photos from L to R- Possum In The Trash, Firehouse Burger, Nor'easter)
The food was much better than I had anticipated. Sometimes the simplest items are the hardest to cook. The wings and burgers were very tasty and well executed. Service was a little rocky, but I believe our server was brand new and they were short staffed that day. I think a little patience goes a lo
