Sassy Sauce
The food is good and a little spicy. The holiday is very tasty but it’s a little too spicy for small kids in my opinion. The plantains are generally firm and not too sweet and they are never overcooked. If you don’t like firm plantains then I would skip this side. It can be a bit challenging to get a parking space and the parking lot is shaped awkwardly but people make it work.

We have tried this restaurant a few times before but the last visit was very unfortunate. We decided to dine in instead of taking out. Me and my husband ended up with stomach viruses but it hit my husband harder where he ended up having to get IV therapy for severe dehydration for four days of constant diarrhea. Looking back after the fact..we did notice that regardless of the business, covers were off the serving areas, therefore constant food exposure, you didn't see any steam so food was not properly kept at required food temperature, and not to mention the uncleanness. Definitely do not recommend this place!!

This restaurant serves a variety of West African food. Parking is available in front of the restaurant but is limited. Choose to dine in or take away. The dine in area is spacious and can accommodate a sizable party. I got my favorite drink - Malt here. Server was courteous and remembered my order from an earlier phone call in the day. Food was good.

The food was great. I ordered takeout from the TooGoodToGo app for their leftovers and they didn't disappoint. It was tasty!

$37.76 worth of food. Spinach with meat, container of meat, and fufu! Overpriced BS I can make myself and didn't even give extra sauce as I requested. The container of meat half filled WOW!
*Just finished the assorted meat container and it was only 1 chunk of beef I was able to eat. The other 4 pieces was a bone, chunk of kidney or heart, bone, and maybe a piece of tripe ($8.50 WOW)!

I have eaten here several times. I just recently had the yam porridge and spinach. One of the best Nigerian restaurants in the DMV area. I recommend this place if you like or want to try Nigerian food!

Great restaurant. I'm always skeptical of African/Nigerian restaurants cause a lot of times, I get some concoction that is no where close to authentic but everything here was great. Their Asaro(Yam Porridge) is delicious!
